My husband and I both have health conditions that require us both to take several dietary supplements, he is a heart patient and I have female complications. So, to avoid all the negatives of taking their prescription counterparts-you know, lower your cholesterol but kill you liver-we go the natural route.This being said, with all the various vitamins and minerals we take it tends to get expensive. To cut costs we started buying whichever ones we could in bulk and putting them in capsules ourselves. We saved the bottles, and put the ones we make in them, so that everything is still clearly labeled.Over the course of doing this we have tried many different brands of capsules. Some fit well into the machine, others do not and get stuck and make a mess. I found the Healthy Life Supply capsules here on Amazon, and they by far work the best.They are non GMO, preservative free, gluten free, kosher and halal certified.They come in four different sizes. We use 00 because they are not horsepills yet not so small that you have to take more capsules.You can choose from a 500 count bag or 1000. Savings per capsule dictates we buy the 1000 count bag.We take ginger root, turmeric, black cohosh, reishi mushroom, red raspberry leaves, folic acid, lycopine and a few others. So, you see, between us it can get expensive to try to be healthier.Since we have started doing this, we have cut our monthly spending on supplements way down.A penny saved. . .

These are perfect for dispensing cayenne pepper without heartburn or mouth burn. I like the 00 size because they are easier to fill. Take a hard plastic drinking straw such as found in covered water cups, cut the straw in half (lengthwise) for about 2 inches (measured from one end of straw), then remove one of the halves. Put your cayenne pepper in a round bottom bowl, and use the cut end of the straw as a scoop. The straw fits perfectly into the gelatine capsule, and by gently turning the straw back and forth, the cayenne pepper will flow easily into it. It also helps to turn your air conditioner on and cool your home 3 or 4 degrees to remove humidity about half an hour before filling the capsules. This will prevent the cayenne pepper from clumping.

I do a lot of capsules at home, so I was looking for a larger package of capsules. These work just fine. I have two capsule filling machines. "The capsule machine," which fills 24 at a time and a larger format one that does 100 at a time. The capsules occasionally catch a bit on the smaller unit and I have had a couple squished capsules, but mostly due to my impatience. They work flawlessly and smoothly on my larger capsule filling machine. I'm unclear on why there's a difference in performance between my capsule machines. Recommended.

I bought a capsule filling device on Amazon as well. I heartily recommend getting both. However, a warning here, which has nothing to do with the quality of the gel caps. THEY WILL MELT IF THERE IS ANY WATER LEFT IN YOUR MIXTURE. I use water to bring up the level of fluid in my CBD oil concoction. Normally, I'd refrigerate the oil and pour off the water, but I guess I didn't get it all and the capsules melted. Totally my own stupidly, but I hope you learn from my lesson. Now I'm of to make Tumeric caps. Really great product.

It doesnt upset the stomach and doesn't have a nasty after taste depending on what vitamins or herbs you use with it.

I use these for making Turmeric capsules. They are inexpensive (save me a lot over buying the ready made capsules) and work great. This is my second purchase of these capsules and I have had no problems with them. Highly recommend!

I think I've written a review of these before but here is another one. I've been buying this brand for years, the flavor is neutral and they fit my little "capsule machine" and my 100 count filler well. There are usually 1-10 capsules that are unusable due to cracking or denting. My biggest criticism is that they are usually badly packed, loose in a too-large box with other unpadded or underpadded heavier items. Don't know why that's been a thing but it's pretty regular. Will continue to buy anyway!
