NANUK 905 Protective Hard Case with Cubed Foam, Waterproof & Dustproof

Another great Nanuk case.

first thing I did was cut a hole in the side of this case, waterproof means nothing to me. I wanted a hard case for my manifold (Testo) to keep it from getting beat up while in my work truck and while being hauled off a roof with a bunch of other equipment. the case is well built, the latches are awesome. with a hole cut in the side of the case I can still stand on it and it remains solid (I'm 270lbs). a bit of spray adhesive keeps the foam in place. I was so happy with the quality of this case that I ordered a few others that I will not be cutting holes in. update: still using this setup 6 years later, case is still going strong. still being bounced around in my work truck and rooftops. no cracks, no chips, handle, hinge and latches still work great. the price is about double what I first paid for it

This case is very secure and well made. The foam insert is very easy to get the right shape into.

Very strong, built like a tank. What can I say about being water resistant, ok I got it yes it is I've put it to the test. I've had it out in the rain, mud and cement and my milwaukee lazer has remained safe, intact and hasn't got wet or destroyed.

Excellent easy latches, difficult foam. Both the Nanuk and its well-known competitors are strong, waterproof, very durable, with excellent foam protection. But the Nanuk has MUCH EASIER LATCHES with no sacrifice in quality or security. The Nanuk just clobbered the other guys in their design of the latches. So easy, never hurts my older, slightly arthritic hands. Excellent. The Nanuk foam is a mixed blessing. The foam is very, very tough. Very difficult to cut out to fit my equipment. Long slow process. I have tried sharp knives, serrated knives, scissors. After an hour I am still only half way done cutting just two simple circles. On the other hand, I suppose that this super tough foam stands up to heavy use, lasts a long time. A trade off. You have been advised.

My husband used these to pack ammo for our hunting trip to South Africa. He used two case to split his ammo, putting one in my luggage and one in his luggage. They worked great.

My roommate owned some Pelican and they are top of the line. I own Nanuks. They fell more sturdy and the latch handles are more secure and easier to operate than Pelican. Whenever I open a Pelican I feel like I'm going to break a finger nail or scratch myself because it is too hard to pull up on the latches. With Nanuk, it locks tight, but there is another easier safety release that you push, making the latch very easy to release. I feel like a child can safely latch and unlatch Nanucks, but not Pelican. I often have to slap the latch of Pelicans in order to latch them close. I never have to do that with Nanuks. I have also dropped this case with my camera and lenses in it and they are perfectly fine.

I needed a camera case for kayaking that was waterproof, buoyant and brightly colored. This is a great fit, and the pick-foam was really easy to remove to create a match for my camera. I think this size is perfect for SLR cameras, particularly if you want to store with a lens pre-fitted, or in my case permanently attached

Very solid and good looking. The locks feels solid and are easy to operate. You only have to cut the small part who link the foam cubes and then tear the parts you want to remove. Expensive, but worth it to protect the equipment adequatly. It feels like this device can be trusted.

Phenomenal quality case! Excellent hardware on this case - solid strong hinges, excellent latches and handle. Used this for some rc equipment.

De excelente calidad.
