Optrix XD5 Monopod for iPhone 5 Series Cases

Great unit to use with smart phone cameras. Need to purchase a case that will attach to this unit. Approximate cost $23.

it only works with the crystal case and the same crystal case doesn't let you take photos because it cover the front cam

this is as good as Hero-Pro, if you gave an IPhone 5S the camera and slow Mo are amazing in conjunction with the lenses

This completely broke after the second time using it. Not happy. Would not buy again because of how cheaply made it is.

I don't like this product.The build quality is mediocre.The strap broke the first time I used it, luckily I was snorkling in Crete and could retrieve my Iphone from the bottom but I can't imagine how I'd feel if this happened while out sailing the North Sea.The ball-joint cannot be fixed properly and your camera WILL sag after some time.The 1/4" tripod screw wasn't fixed properly, the camera WILL rotate unintentionally.Don't even try using the locking/unlokcing mechanism in a dusty or sandy environment, it WILL jam.I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this product.

The mount works really well with the Optrix case that it's designed to work with. I do a lot of action sports and this mount has always stayed stable and didn't flex or twist. It goes down small enough to slip in my backpack and goes longer than I'd ever need it to go. Keep it away from the beach as it doesn't come apart and if you get sand in there then you'll be stuck with a gritty slide. Still works but feels gritty if you get sand in there. As long as you don't get sand in there then it'll last you for a really long time.
