great compact keyboard - short life!
This is a very cute set. Has a good range. I am using it in my living room for a computer hooked to the tv. It is very compact and easy to stash away in a drawer. I tried both the keyboard and the mouse from over twenty feet away and it worked. My only gripe really is the design of the mouse. It's pretty, but uncomfortable. You can't really rest your palm on it. Sometimes I grab it backwards because the back is low and feels like it should be the front. I've never used an Apple mouse but it looks like it'd be the same way. On occasion the "t" on the keyboard won't register when I am typing fast. I just have to be more deliberate. For the price, it is awesome though! It's exactly what I needed without having to pay $100.*updateI have bought this twice, and I am done. The first one lasted ten months and the second lasted about four. It is really is frustrating having a keyboard just die for no apparent reason. For the price, I guess it could just be considered disposable, but this is something that needs a little more reliability.

Doing the job
5 stars and they deserve it!. Some people like fancy names and expensive accessories! This is not for you. The keyboard and mouse doesn't have any lable/tag on them. No brand no nothing. Just black plastic where the tags should be. Talking performance, the mouse has a very quite scrolling and clicking. The keyboard has a very nice feeling when typing. It is not that click of expensive ones but comfortable to work with. I got this combo to use on Raspberry pi project but I am using them on my laptop sometimes as the keyboard is really slim and wireless.Talking battery, the mouse goes to sleep when idle. To reactivate click on it. The keyboard as well I guess. That's good as the battery will last longer (some people can be concerned). The mouse pointer responding very nice and accurate. better than my BT Samsung mouse.Over all, satisfied with the purchase and really recommending it.

Even though it's Windows, it's a good enough temporary workaround for my MacBook Pro
I have a MacBook Pro laptop that I spilled a little water on so several of the keys no longer work. Apple will only replace the entire keyboard and a few other items as the fix which added up to about $1200. I ordered this key as a temporary workaround. Even though it's formatted for Windows, the main keys, symbols, numbers work on my MacBook Pro just fine. It's the shortcut keys that are different. Fortunately, MacBook Pro's shortcut keys and Mac specific keys (across the top) and the touchpad still work so I can still do Mac related things. Otherwise, I think I would have returned the keyboard. It is a nice, thin, compact keyboard. The mouse is average size, but they are definitely very portable. I put batteries that were partially used in the mouse and keyboard and they are working fine for over a week with my laptop on the greater part of the day. I try to remember to turn everything off when I turn of my laptop. My screen saver doesn't come on often, though. I think there's some sensing of subtle movement of my mouse that it must sense. My workaround is to shut my laptop closed periodically when I won't be using it.

Increasing Android Productivity
I recently purchased an Android box and was looking for a small lightweight keyboard to enhance my experience. I hate using a remote control or only a mouse to press in one input key at a time.My package arrived a day earlier than I expected and everything was in perfect shape. The keyboard was exactly what I was looking for; smallish, thin and lightweight, but with normal size keys for quick typing. This will be perfect for typing long emails and even while surfing/searching websites. In addition, with the office tools available for Android, this will be great for throwing together a quick document or spreadsheet.I put the "AAA" batteries (not included) in the mouse and keyboard and plugged the wireless dongle into the Android box. Everything connected perfectly immediately. No set up was required by my device. The keyboard and mouse were both responsive. While testing the keyboard, I found the keys to have good action and I could type very rapidly. The only issue that I had was that on my Android device, I could not simply press the "Enter" key to make the application "Go". I found I had to use the mouse to click on the Android keyboard to make the application execute. I will be looking into other applications to try and make my custom keyboard map.Overall, I am very happy with the product. The mouse looks a bit cheapish; all black with a simple slit between the 2 mouse keys, but for the price I think it is an excellent bargain!

Perfect for my needs! Compact and works great.
I bought this set to use with a small Minix mini-PC, Windows 10. And for that, it's pretty much perfect. It's very compact and the mouse even has a scroll wheel. The USB receiver dongle is tiny and unobtrusive in the port, barely sticks out. Yes, it feels cheap and light and plasticky, but that's fine for me. The keyboard even has a compartment to store the USB dongle, though I don't know why I'd need to store it since it's in use.Two little things that were tricky -- one, getting it recognized on initial setup took several tries of turning the keyboard and mouse off & on. And when you wake the computer (or the keyboard/mouse have been idle long enough), the keyboard wakes but you have to click a mouse button to get it going. But that happens instantly, and now that I know, it's no big deal.I see reviews that say it broke or stopped working after a short time, but so far mine are working flawlessly, including the scroll wheel. I'll update if that changes, but I'm very satisfied.

VERY cheap feel to it. Yes it's ultra- light but the keys are extremely noisy when typing. Returned item as I didnt like it.
