Very calming music
All of the tracks on this CD are soft, beautiful, classical works by Mahler. I use this CD to meditate, do yoga, to relax. The music definitely has a calming effect, which I greatly appreciate (and need). I like this CD so well that I am going to order more in this line (for learning, for de-stressing, etc).

Definately recommend this and the rest of the collection
I purchased this CD and actually the others that go along with it due to having adult ADHD and severe anxiety and panic attack disorder. I was very suprised at how just having this music playing low in a room where I am studying or working helps to keep me focused and as odd as it is it actually has helped out with my panic and anxiety attacks that I have. It has literally helped me enough so that I don't need to take medication to stop an attack that all of sudden happens out of no where. I would definately recommend it to anyone who has any type of issues like these just because for me I hated to feel like I would need to take a pill to calm me down from something that I didn't even know was causing it but yet would almost make me pass out. The music is literally set up with specific beats and in an order that I would never have thought would be so helpful in getting me to a point of being able to calm down as quickly as it does, it works faster than having to take a pill for a panic attack. So I'm definately glad that I found these and now also have an absolute respect that I never even thought of before for classical music. For anyone who doesn't listen to classical music or has never had an interest in it I would recommend these CD's just hear or listen to one of the songs it amazes me how the music can change a mood or feeling so quickly and in a good way.

Beyond De-Stressing Toward Diversity Sublime
I became interested in building a diverse collection of chamber music to play one complete disc three or four times a week while I experiment with acrylic paints alone in my noise-dampened studio. I discovered the arcangelos chamber ensemble series of discs aimed to yield specific target results for its listeners. By the time I had listened to three discs, I realized that any collection of these disks must represent impressive diversity because users would not like discs aimed at different specific targets to sound the same. I now have eight discs in the series and am delighted with the quality, selection and diversity of the overall set. I listen to them in rotation and think eight disks is about the right number for my purpose. By the way, the arcangelos chamber ensemble is superb.

Just 100% Relaxing!
Best, most ambient music and sounds ever for relaxing, sleeping, or soothing background sound. This is the second one I bought, I don’t ever want to not have one to play. Creates a wonderful atmosphere.

Home school background noise
I put this to use during our home school time. We have the entire series. They are very useful as background noise. I notice a significant improvement in our studies and moods when we play these discs. Highly recommend.

This collection is great. I have them all
This collection is great. I have them all. My girl has to read for 30 minutes a day. I just up-ed it to 45. Both at 30 and 45, when one of the slower ones is playing, like learning or that tempo, she will always read longer. Very pleasant. my husband loves the Relax one to accompany an afternoon nap!

Very soothing
Use this nearly every day in my high school special education classroom. Helps to calm students and they enjoy it. If I forget to play it, many ask for it to be turned on.
