Mindell is able to give a new map of how things work
This is a book that requires something from the reader. You get guided through a series of exercises that are very exiting.I have been a fan of Process Work for many years, as it resonates with my own experience. Imagine psychology - physics - and shamanism - conflict resolusion and echology all being a part of the same underlying process. That gravity - that we can't really explain also corrolates with our emotions and that we all have to relate ot the thing we have in common - earth. Not in an "airy fairy" way but as a very real force that we can percieve with our subtle senses. This book is a nice summery of a lot of Mindells other work, with good guidelines to something new - maybe even a way to solve large group conflicts now and in the future. So, do the exercises and play along - this will rock the world I'm sure!

New Paradigm or TOE ?
Mindell continues to revolutionize how we think about the ourselves, the world we live in, and the universe that this world is part of. This book has had more of an impact on my inner work, my meditation practice, and above all, how I view myself and the challenges I struggle with, than anything I have ever read until now. It widens the scope and scale of Mindell's Processwork theory in many aspects, especially the perspective about what is known as "conscious" and "unconscious", showing them as two streaming energies, the flow of which is organized by the "Processmind", a principle that we can find in nature and the universe. Apart from Mindell's uncanny ability to fuse physics, anthropology and psychology into a new paradigm that shows the limitation of these more traditional scientific areas, the book is just a sheer pleasure to read for anyone interested in bringing interdisciplinary thinking into the realm of a theory of everything.

An exploration of your connection to the world
In this book the author explores how to connect with the environment through meditation and internal work. This is a fascinating book which examines not only how we relate to the human body, but also to the environment through our body, both natural and manmade. It provides some useful exercises that can help you implement the practices described in the book. Worth reading if you want to develop a deeper connection with reality.

A good guide to self awareness
This self-help book is like many others, with a focus on some novel idea to make the complex simple. In this case, the author uses the concept of "process mind" to make a distinction between our rational thoughts, about which we are aware, and the hidden mind that controls much of what we experience. While this is a useful concept, it's use tends to be repetitious and is applied to ways that challenge acceptance. Nevertheless, this is a useful guide to understanding how our mind deals with reality.

A must read for those interested in physics and psychology
A superby edited book about a rather complex subject matter that is well worth reading and exploring. Jungians and post-Jungians beware: there are openings laid out in this book that establish parallels through movement to expand textual interpretation and subjective images to map out pathways on both sides of religious development: physics and psychology.

Fascinating and useful
This book has to be read slowly and deliberately. I've used it to teach classes where I call out the exercises step by step. First setting the exercises up with the elaborate settings he surrounds them in. Fascinating material. Profound. Useful. I love it.

Disappointing
After reading "Quantum Mind: The Edge between Physics and Psychology" and "Quantum Mind and Healing", found this book rather disappointing as it added little to the content of the previous books.

Socalled New thoughts on science
For many years I have been interested in this kind of subjects. Because of this I have developed quite a tolerance for out of the way theories. This book however is off the wall. In spite of the author's authoritative position and apparent pedigree, reading this book was a total waste of time for me, not even worth a single star. I do not recommend this work. There is no reason for Amazon.com to sell it.

Strange but Great
I learned about Mindell through a Coaching Program in Paris. I immediately bought 5 of his books. This was the first one I read. Mindell is a pretty strange thinker, but this book really helped my thinking on soul energy. This book is also stuffed with exercises which are pretty helpful to find the movement of the soul through your body-awareness. The way I walk through nature has definitely changed since I read this book ;-)
