Great tasting but have to be in the mood
Like leather and ball gags -- a person might only be in the mood for taro chips once every few months. The flavor of taro is unique and acquired (it's the basis of poi, after all). But every few weeks the urge to have taro chips suddenly comes on and is overwhelming. These chips are a good consistency, not extremely hard but not overcooked either. They pair well with ketchup, especially gourmet flavors of ketchup such as jalapeno. Smaller portions than potato chips, but that's today's taro market.

They taste great. Ordering again.
Love the chips. They should be Shipped in a box, not a bubble envelope. The envelope was shoved into my mailbox. I'm surprised they weren't crumbs when I received them. Next time I'll order more so they have to box them.

A different kind of chip but hard on the teeth
These chips are a great alternative. Great flavor but my only issue is they have a hardness to them and makes it a challenge to chew. Not sure of it is due to the root vegetable itself or how it is cooked/baked/fried.

Poi in Chip-form...not really...
So as some may know, poi comes from taro and in its mashed state is sometimes an acquired taste...but Terra Taro chips needs no adjustment [except maybe less salt]. I used to buy their 'root' chips and pick out all the taro chips so I was pleased when I saw Terra had a bag of Taro chips only. The chip is hard; it seems to have the texture of a kettle chip. Is it value for money...there isn't a lot in a bag but if you're slightly obsessed about taro...then yeah. Go for it.

Very Flavorful Cut nice and thick
Love these Chips. They are a little pricey but I eat them slowly since they are so nice thick and flavorful. I ordered some from another company and they were salty thin and tasteless. These were just as I remembered them and I was so happy to have found them again and I will definitely be ordering these again. The packaging was fantastic I was very pleased.

Salty & crunchy, great texture
I like the thick texture & solid crunch, though these are a bit salty for me.
