My adult non-reading special-needs son loved this book. Great book with lots of pictures!

Its a pretty good book if your kids are interested in marine life but this is called Whales and only about half the things are actually about whales. I was expecting a whale book, if I wanted a book about all marine mammals, I would have gotten one called marine mammals. The pictures aren't great and the information is lacking. I wouldn't buy it again.

The entire collection is fantastic (not only this book, but any within the collection). I gave 5 books to my boys for Christmas and keep getting more until I finish the collection. DK books are particularly good for kids because of the ridiculous number of drawings, graphics, and photographs. Worth every penny.

great book, very informative, it talks a lot of other sea animals other than whales too, I am fine with that but I suppose not everyone will be interested in everything.

It was a gift for my grandson! He loves it!!

My grand daughter is besotted with animals and in particular sea life. She loves this book... great pictures with detailed commentary that maintains their interest. It is a book that she will dip into time and time again - she is only 6 but she never fails to amaze me with the detailed knowledge she has gained from this and other similar books in this range.

This is a wonderful book; full of illustrations and information to whet the appetite of anyone.

Quality puplication for enquiring kids, my son has loads of the Eyewitness books, they cover lots of basic info on the subject and this is no exception.
