The plug ends are really long. Mine barely fit. Coupled with the reputation of being easily broken, I worried during installation. But it's placed and run and working well.

A couple of months ago I moved my A/V equipment rack farther away from the wall where the HDMI wall plate from the projector enters the room and ever since, have not gotten a signal from the A/V receiver to the BenQ W1070 projector. I ordered HDMI signal boosters and a RedMere HDMI cable, and neither worked. I decided to do away with the HDMI wall plates, as that is another place where the signal could be degraded. I replaced them with single outlet brush wall plates so this new cable will connect straight from the receiver to the projector. To verify that this new optical cable worked, I simply connected it from the HDMI output on the receiver to the projector input. Picture looks great once again.I was initially impressed with the packaging of this cable. The box was solid and looked like something that you would expect if you bought a new Rolex watch or other high priced item. The cable itself had those small plastic plug protectors on the ends, plus a little "sock" over each one, along with two nice Velcro cable ties. It was obvious that much care was put into the packaging of this product.I've been without my projector for a couple for months now and am very pleased that it's back up and running thanks to this DELONG Fiber Optic HDMI Cable. I wish I would have ordered this from the start.

Reviewing the 50ft fiber optic one here. Works perfectly to transmit a 4K signal at 120hz from Xbox series X to Samsung QN 90 4K tv. Transmits all sound formats, and no flickering or clipping or dropping of signal. If you need a 50+ foot 4K connector, go with fiber optic because non-fiber ones will NOT run properly. Tried a couple of other brands, one worked OK also, however I had to return another one since it wouldn't transmit eArc back to the receiver when set up for that purpose (even though it claimed that it could). Just for a note, I'm not using this one in an eArc setup. (I'm using optical out to return the audio to my Denon receiver)

Updated: Company and support is fantastic. While the cable didn’t work for me (see below), the company quickly sent me a replacement, and then provided a full refund when it didn’t work out. [original post] Cable worked great out of the box. However when I ran the wire through the wall and attic, it would no longer sync to send the video signal. Support was GREAT and quickly sent me a new cable. it again worked out of the box. However after very carefully running through the wall, it again failed. Too fragile.

Worked great for about 8 months, but then the audio connection became intermittent. However, when the company became aware, they promptly sent me a new cable, which is working great so far!

I have used several long HDMI cables and the picture results have been varied. These issues, especially the sound not syncing with audio VC drove me *crazy".I did not have any difficult whatsoever with the cable. Sounds and video sync up nicely. Very pleased with this phase.The only issue was at the ends of the cable both said source on the USB connects. This differs from the Amazon picture.Since the cable was laying between the source, a laptop, and a display, a TV, doing a swap of cable ends was easy. If not, this would be very difficult swap a cable out

This cable will work for long runs. I’m using it with my media rack and ran a single hdmi from my receiver to the tv (about 45 feet)

Edit: Customer support sent a new cable that works perfectly, and sent it quite quickly! Great support.Device worked well with no issues for a little less than 1 year (3090 with LG B7). Started when playing AOE 4, over time my game would flicker between lost signal and the display for the game in 4k HDR.These flickers would continue after the game ended, and would cycle between getting better or worse until it finally stopped providing a signal altogether. I've confirmed it's the cable and not the TV, PC, or HDMI ports.Reached out to support as the warranty is for 5 years I think? Will update review after I've received contact from them.

J'utilise ce matériel dans un setup d'évènements hybrides, présentiel et Zoom conjugués. Le système son/image est au fond de la salle, une grande télévision en avant pour que les présents en salle voient les personnes sur Zoom.J'avais eu beaucoup de problèmes de connexion entre les deux, dûs à la perte de charge en fonction de la distance (plus de 10m/30 pieds). Ce câble fait le travail sans aucun problème et sans perte de qualité. Bien sûr sans aucun relai électronique, Totalement recommandableAttention c'est un câble optique, donc à manipuler sans violence, gros chocs et plicatures forcées surtout.
