Functionality: Fit great and you can note the difference between the old bulbs and this one, definitely this bran always bringing real good products. Quality: I bought before other bulbs finding cheapest option but don't make sense, just I recommend find the best brand for durability and keep safe on the dark roads; honestly this one excess my expectations, highly recommended. My vehicle was originally equipped with H11 headlight bulbs. Replacing the stock H11 bulbs with H9 bulbs does make night time driving much easier due to the increased brightness. Of course I could have had even brighter headlights by replacing the stock halogen headlights with HID headlights. However I think the upgrade from H11 to H9 headlights was a better choice because the cost of the upgrade was low and because while the H9 headlights are brighter, they are not so bright as to offend other drivers. The local auto parts stores in my area do not stock these headlight bulbs. Due to the fact that the cost of these bulbs is low online and because they help a lot with night driving, I will be ordering a few more bulbs so that I have some spares.

Sylvania makes a great product, but a word of caution for those looking to convert H9 to H11 usage. -The picture for these is different that the product (no cap on the bulb). -The "European" designation means nothing. This is a standard halogen bulb, just like the Philips counterpart. -The description is incorrect. These are not dual filament bulbs. H9 bulbs are inherently single filament. -This final point is the biggie for those converting to H11. The modification on the metal tab is much harder on this bulb than Philips. I've posted a picture to show the part I'm referring to. On the Sylvania bulb, the top metal layer extends further than the Philips version. This means you end up cutting through two layers of metal to get the bulb to fit a H11 lamp. If you are up for the challenge, go for it, otherwise, get the easier bulb. Long story short... this is your good ol' fashioned halogen bulb and a solid performer. But if you are looking to modify it, grab the other brand.

Read in the Subaru & Toyota Nation forums that it significantly improves headlight output for night driving. Glad i made the modification as the light output is way brighter than the OEM H11. Technically speaking this bulb's wattage is 55 vs. 35 for the OEM H11 and the only downside with H9 is shorter life but that is okay since it is cheap. I highly recommend it.

It's a 'Basic' halogen bulb, what can you say? Packaged on a blister pac card; arrived in fine shape, typical high Sylvania quality, installed smooth, lit right up! Haven't burned out yet so 100% OK I got 2 to upgrade the H11s on my '13 Ram 1500...

Got the Sylvania H9 bulbs. Both bulbs were Osram bulbs, so I was very happy. Installation was a breeze, of course, and the bulbs worked great right out of the box. No complaints here!

A decent stock replacement bulb, but it doesn't impress with its brightness. If simply looking to replace a burnt out bulb, this is a good choice.
