GREAT customer service
I wrote the following post but felt I needed to come back and correct it. After I had made that post, I went to the actual Sylvania store site within Amazon and submitted a complaint. They got back in touch with me by email and requested my proof of purchase. Without me making any demands, they apologized, acknowledged that some problem products slip through the inspection system and sent me a replacement light bulb! I consider that excellent customer service! I have been using their bulbs for years (this one and the next price level down) and have always been pleased with the product. Now I am impressed with their customer service as well! I changed my rating from one star to five! PREVIOUS NEGATIVE POST: I purchased a set of these in December of '25 and the bulb had burned out buy mid-April of '26. These bulbs are too expensive to only last 4 months. They SHOULD last at least a year or two. NOT! And there is not recourse if you buy them on Amazon. Good luck finding someone to help when you buy a bad product.

Great lights for a great price
These are a great choice for headlights. Sylvania makes some good products. This one is one of their higher level headlights. A very nice and clear white light. Great brightness and allows you to see further down road than some of the other headlights out there. I feel like it’s a very nice addition to my car. Feels like expensive bulbs for a great price. Changing my old ones out was fairly easy. Just a tight spot to fit my hand into. But the pop in and lock on just like every other bulb out there. Plus they are $20 cheaper than getting the same ones from my local auto parts store. You won’t be disappointed in this decision.

Work great in my 2012 Sierra
Compatible w/ 2012 GMC Sierra and crystal clear. Installation was not easy but no fault of these bulbs. Fit perfectly, easy to use and very bright, will buy them again!

Quite bright but have decided to go with LEDs for even more safety. Still these a very good.
Very bright. Am upgrading to LEDs though. I keep my low beams on whenever I drive to help stop the jerks from cutting me off. Arizona's are among the worst drivers and with all the newcomers from California things are even worse. They don't make brakes good enough anymore - am forced to upgrade from cheap manufacturers cheap ones.

Do not buy these
Do not buy this item on Amazon I feel bad because I never really check to see what their return policy is on these lights if they go out bad which I don't think they will after 3 months but they do not last and it's a waste of money you're paying good money for a nice light which the lights were nice when they worked but they decided to crap out so do yourself a favor go to Advanced Auto you're going to spend the same exact money that you will on Amazon buy the bulbs and then pay the additional $3 for a lifetime guarantee so if that ball blows which in Subarus they always do you bring it back again new bulb whether it's a week two weeks 3 weeks so do not buy these my recommendation Good luck hope this helps

Very good headlights
Bought these for my 2018 civic a while back, they worked very good and felt high quality, but I switched to LED's a few months later. although these are very nice, if you're going to be changing your headlights you might as well get LEDs while you're in there instead of the halogen. I would buy these again if I had to

Buy from a reputable brand, check the country of origin
Perfect fit replacement bulb (but I already knew that before I ordered the package). I have 50 years of electronics and repair technician experience, so I always do my research before any online purchase. For Sylvania halogen bulbs, there are 4 different classes (according to the back of the package). From Basic to the SilverStar Ultra version I bought. You can review the package chart on the back online before your purchase. I did. The Basic and maybe the next level up, are made in China. Hey, if you're the thrifty type, buy the Chinese products before the proposed tariff war starts. I bought the top of the line because the ratings (by the manufacturer) were the highest compared to the lowest price version. If the headlight replacement for your car requires you to stand on your head and have three assistants (read your car manual and search DIY videos), then please buy the better version. My car, a 2014 Accord, required some minor contorting by my wrist and forearm but I won't be doing that again anytime soon. One important detail: DO NOT touch the halogen bulb "glass" with your fingers.; Your skin oil will cause the "glass" to fry in one spot and prematurely age the bulb. Trust me. Halogen bulbs have been around since the 1960's and I know what I'm talking about. Hold the replacement bulb by its plastic base.

OK, so so brightness, pricey.
Works ok, brighter than OEMs but not that bright. I tried LEDs and they were 10x the brightness but they kept flashing due to CANbus incompatibility. Too bad.

Best performing low beam headlight bulbs for the 2006 Buick Allure CX 3.8L V6.
Best performing low beam headlight bulb for the 2006 Buick Allure CX 3.8L V6. This is an H11 replacement bulb pair for my low beam headlights. I got about 2 years out of my last pair of the exact same make and model from Sylvania. They provide a good colour rendering index of projected light under all driving conditions including snow ❄️. It projects light really far and clearly for night driving. It is also a good colour temperature for the eyes. It is a little bit challenging to replace the low beam headlight bulb for my vehicle but I have the procedure down pat so it is easier now. I recommend this exact H11 Sylvania bulb as a replacement because you should never skimp or compromise your ability to see clearly when driving at night. It is the best in their lineup of replacement headlight bulbs. Always replace headlight bulbs in pairs!!! I don't recommend LED headlights because they may also throw ECU codes for incompatibility, unless you're certain they won't from the manufacturer. Double check this functional requirement with the manufacturer before purchasing an LED replacement headlight bulb pair. Always replace headlight bulbs in pairs!!!

Better than OEM bulbs: Illuminating the night and revealing details I didn't know were there
My OEM bulb decided to call it quits, prompting me to give the Sylvania H11 Silverstar Ultra a shot. Verdict? The brightness goes above and beyond, illuminating the night and revealing details I didn't know were there. I attached a picture for you to witness the light for yourself. While I don't have a snapshot of the OEM bulb for a side-by-side, it is obvious to me that these Silverstar Ultras outshine in terms of light volume and crystal-clear vision. Now, the only hiccup is, despite being touted as 'WHITE LIGHT,' it's more of a subtle, cozy glow—maybe around 3000K to a max of 3500K. That is the reason why they do not get a 5-star! At this moment, I do not know how long the bulbs will last. Just hold my hope!

Great
Only bulbs I use they are awesome and bright without blinding every other car like leds do. Last super long never have had issues

Only lasted a year, but that is better than some who bought this.
Shortest lived headlight bulb I have ever purchased. And by a significant amount, in any of my cars in over 30 years. A waste of money and time. At least it lasted a bit longer than the few months that some others have been hit with. The original bulb it replaced lasted close to a decade. I would not have expected a repeat of that, but this was unacceptable.

Huge improvement in night vision from OEM bulbs!
I’ve only had these bulbs in for a couple weeks. Other reviews tell me they only last 8 months to a year, but I shall wait and see. The OEM bulbs, I replaced these with, are still working and have been since 2011. I just needed better night vision on the road. The OEM bulbs are fairly dim. These bulbs have certainly improved the nighttime viewing area!
