I’ve had this for a few weeks now and it seems to be a really good quality product, with no signs of rust, discolouration or any other worries whatsoever. Heats quite quickly on my gas hob, and though it does appear to lose that heat quite quickly, I view that as a positive as it means the water drops to a good brewing temperature sooner. I use this with my Hario v60 drip coffee maker - and this gooseneck style of kettle does seem to be optimum for this method of brewing, and it couldn’t be easier to use.

Although it looks good value it is poorly made. The first one I recently purchased came and after picking it up normally with the handle I had 3 pieces of plastic handle break off. So refunded and purchased another (hoping I was unlucky). I wasn’t the second was already broken in the same way in the box. Also returned and refunded. It looks great but clearly manufacturing problems with the handle fixing. Avoid.
