Nicely done for the price
I use this in my audio cabinet on top of my AVR, the USB cord connects to the iPod USB port on the front of the Denon AVR and it powers it just fine. Shuts off when the unit shuts off. Keeps it nicely ventilated with no sound. I can imagine this thing is not durable at all, but for what I use it for, it doesn't need to be.

WAY TOO BRIGHT! CORD LASTED 3 MONTHS! It is junk.
First, what is with the incredibly bright 3 LEDs on the front? Who needs these? They are not only a waste of (a minor amount of) electricity, but they are way way too bright at night. You could land a plane by them.Second, the cord lasted all of 3 months. As it was badly made, without maltreatment it broke with a puff of smoke at the USB outlet. No chance of salvaging it.Total crap. I don't usually mind buying inexpensive things if they are built simply, but this is simply crap.

Laptop Fan
Fans not very strong. My laptop is somewhat older and the internal fan should probably be replaced. So prolonged use of my laptop causes it to overheat pretty fast. Weight of laptop weighs it down & sometimes keeps fans from spinning. Although the construction of the actual product seems to be made well, would not order again. The product by Sanoxy which is a clear tray that lights up when plugged into USB seemed to work better. It's pretty flimsy, but works better. Fans were larger in diameter. Had I not stepped on it would still be using.

I was pleasently suprised (for the most part)
Pros:I was surprised how solid this notebook cooler was. For the price, I expected it to be more flimsy.I have a 15.6" laptop and it fits (barely fits, but that's all I need).Another surprise is how well it cooled. It's kind of a funky design. It has the fan vents open on the top and the bottom is completely covered. There's about 1/2" space that runs along the back side and it vents out there. This has the added benefit that you can put it on your lap and you're not blocking any vents and it doesn't get hot. It does a really good job at cooling. As a few reviews on here had mentioned, the lights on the front are really bright. I knew that when I bought it, so it's more of a neutral than a con. Besides, it was easily fixed by putting a piece of black electrical tape over the lights.Cons:So really, the only con I have is the fans are loud. They're really about twice as loud as they are claimed to be. This wouldn't really even be an issue except that the manufacturer claimed them to be exceptionally quiet, and they are not. They're twice as loud as the built-in fan on my HP. Unless I needed whisper quiet fans, however, this wouldn't stop me from buying it.

A good design but I had two problems with it
It's OK for the price. A good design but I had two problems with it. First the description is a lie. It says it has 3 x 80mm fans. It was one reason it bought it instead of the competition. but the fans are 60mm just like the others and NOT the 80mm they claimed. This was False advertising. Second when I got it one of the 3 status indicator lights did not work. Poor Chinese workmanship.Having said that. I did like the product. Its flat design allows you to set in on any surface including on your lap and still cools your laptop. It is quiet and surprisingly sturdy, and cost a fraction of what it would have cost at Walmart etc...

good for cooling laptop and lighting up a dark room
good build quality, not flimsy thin plastic. its not bulky either, and has plenty of grippy rubber feet where needed. fans produce satisfactory airflow.only thing i dont like is those LED lights on the front; they are SO bright for some reason. but i guess this can be fixed by applying a thin strip of tape over them.other than that, great item to keep your device cool

fart in the wind
FAN-CLFNThe one with three fans.I have two other coolers that I purchased locally because I needed them that work way better.Granted this thing is like 6$ but how hard is it to find cheap fans that push air? I would rather have 3 fans that push air and will fail so I can replace then 3 useless fans but it will work for a while. This thing pulls air down and pushes out the back, I guess it might be better then nothing. The fans are slower then the fans they used to put on 486 processors or the XT's before that. Honestly, it is trash and I will most likely replace the fans some day. I just got it because it was better then nothing.I do not even like the word fart but is the only phrase I could think of to describe this worthless cooler. The plastic and leds have to be worth more then the fans.

Low Quality Product...
Product is of very low quality and does not push out as much air as I had expected based on the specs. But it is cheap so if you are looking for something economical and are not expecting too much this product is for you. If you want something sturdy and high end avoid.
