Terra Sweets and Beets
Terra Sweets and Beets are sweet potatoe and beet chips. They can be hard to find because they are popular and thats why I have bought 2 cases of them before for around $36 per case. That is $3 a bag. I started eating these because they are only 5mg of sodium per serving. I love them. I have kidney disease and keeping track of my sodium intake is important. I love these chips without all of the salt. They will be very bland to someone looking for a salty chip. They recently have skyrocketed to about $60 a case for which is $5 a bag which is only half full at 3 oz. so I won't buy at this price. When they reduce in price I will buy again.

Great snack, subtle. Too much packing.
Great snack, healthy, tastes good, subtle. Was going to add salt until I slowed down and started tasting all the different textures and tastes. Great deal. While slightly crunchy, do not make an audible 'crunch' sound so out of favor these days. However if you leave them open overnight in a dry place, the will get real crunchy!!! Unfortunately too much packing, they could be shipped in their own box, but were shipped in a heavy outer box sturdy enough for a small refridgerator. These are tough chips, not Pringles, they wont break.

LOVE THESE CHIPS
LOVE THESE CHIPS. They are so delicious. Only two semi complaints. 1. There are never enough beet chips. I love sweet potato chips, but I’d like a more even ratio. 2. I ordered these 2 days ago and the chips I received have a “best by” date of June 10th. That gives me about 2 weeks to eat 12 bags of chips. I get that they want to get rid of those ones first and I also understand they don’t necessarily expire, but just a little complaint!

Guilt-Free Pleasure
A hearty thank you to all the reviewers informing my purchase, made a few weeks back at this link from the vendor "Amazon Warehouse Deals," which, it seems, has sold out by now on this product. Rock-bottom price, unbeatable service. I second all the rave reviews on the Sweets & Beets for taste and nutrition, despite my foreboding prior to buying: I'd read the 3-star "Good & Stale" review (Too long on the shelf! These chips were stale!"). Whew. That could have happened to me. I feel for him/her, and count myself lucky on not getting hit with the same rotten deal. To the 4-star "Just a Tad Greasier Than I Would prefer" reviewer, perhaps I'd also like it lighter and drier, but who knows? Maybe the taste would suffer. To the 2-star "too salty" review, I'm mystified. The package claims 10 mg sodium, or 0% RDA of salt (per serving), and the contents passed my taste bud / lie-detector test. What on earth was dropped at your doorstep? To try to explain that--as well the pictured package here of crinkled chips, when I've never found them crinkled--I wrote the company. Here's their answer copied and pasted. Hope it helps. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dear M. Bornstein, Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding our Terra Chips Sweets & Beets. We apologize for the delay in our reply and appreciate your patience. We strive to maintain the highest quality products and your satisfaction is very important to us. Our Terra Sweets and Beets used to be "Krinkle Cut" a couple of years ago, however they are no longer this way. The online retailer must have a previous label for the product (it does have the same UPC code). Regarding the sodium and salt flavor, the sodium is naturally occurring and we do not add salt to the product.

I love these chips!
I am so delighted with these chips. I love the crunchiness of the sweet potato chips and I love that the beet chips have a softer texture that I just can't resist. I save the beets for last because I just want to savor them. I can't have salty foods so these chips are perfect for me as I don't miss the salt at all because they have a rich earthy taste that satisfies me more than salty potato chips. The chips are very fresh and none of them were crushed as they were double boxed for safety. I will buy these again and again and again.......and again. ❤

Amazon's Entry N-2 Food Marketing A BIG SCAM On Prime Consumerism?!?!
I purchased these chips on April 3, 2021, and picked them up from the Post Office 6 days later on April 9. Each bag of chips' expiration date is May 21, 2021, giving me, a private consumer, 1-month & 11-day to eat 12 - 6 oz bags of Sweets & Beets Chips. The past batches of chips I've purchased were sweet and crisp, to the very last chip. Due to the chips pass quality, I ordered a bulk box of 12 bags to save money. Unexpectedly, THE BEET CHIPS ARE SOGGY & MAJORLY BITTER, which has affected the flavor of the sweet potato (yam) chips, consequently spoiling the entire bag. The second bag I opened resulted in the same outcome as the first, so I am assuming, without opening any other bags in this box of 12, that the entire lot with the expiration date of May 21, 2021, is exactly alike (spoiled) and NOT GOOD FOR CONSUMPTION. Therefore, I strongly suggest that no one order any chips until after May 21st if you do not want what happened to me to happen to you. Finally, please note that the last 3 bags of chips I purchased from Amazon Prime was at the end of March, 2021. Those bags had an expire date of April 21, 2021. Although ghey were good, it seems that Amazon Prime is wholesale buying various types of 'soon-to-expire' Vegetable Chips from Terra Manufacturers on the back end, and then retail selling those various batches of 'soon-to-expire' Terra Vegetable Chips with one month expiration dates to its Prime customers on the front end, at prices we consumers would only expect to pay for fresh chips with 3 months or more expiration date(s) on them. Consequently, in this situation, neither Terra's Vege Chips nor Amazon are 'prime'. What a scam...! Amazon should mandate that all manufacturer expiration dates be website-posted on every item that has one, by every Seller, including themselves. Posting of all end-dates on all consumeable products would go a long way to prove Amazon's dedication that ONLY QUALITY CONSUMABLES are sold by and/or through them. As it stands for the time being, going forward, I will purchase food stock from area businesses from now on, wherein I can see shelf expiration dates before-hand.
