Just a book about a little girl
This is a pretty cute book, it doesn't get too into it, it just has a little girl and her friends talking. The friends want to know which daddy does what for her. Which daddy fixes dinner, which one helps her get dressed in the morning, which one coaches soccer, which one helps when she's sad, that sort of thing. It's important to have different families represented on the bookshelf of my classroom because there is a noticeable diversity among my students and their families and they each should be able to find a book on the shelf that their family is similar to. This one is one of two, the other is A tale of two mommies. And I recommend them both.

Sweet and Simplistic
Bought this book for my granddaughter who happens to have 2 dads..While reading this book prior to giving it to her, I tried to identify which daddy did what and my son told me that they had done the same thing when reading the book..I never realized how few books were written featuring the dads. It is a very simple, sweet book for young children. I hope to find more on this subject as my sweet girl ages.

Great book
An easy way to introduce the idea of some kids having different kinds of parents. My daughter asks to read it a lot and likes the idea of two daddies to catch frogs with.

Told from a kids point of view.
Awesome book for kids. Makes them feel like every other kid. Which really is what they are right now.

A gift for a special child and his dads
This is a great dialogue between two children, a boy and a girl, regarding life with two daddies. In the innocence of children, the clarity of parental love is expressed without gender bias. A lovely child we know received this book for his 4th birthday. His parents were so touched by the sweetness of the story. I have no doubt we will order and gift this book again.

Amazing book!
I bought this book for my 5 year old son. It's a wonderful book that introduces the concept of families headed by same-sex couples in a simple manner. Great to teach children about different types of families. Instills acceptance and love for diversity. A++

Love love love
My daughter LOVES this book. I sport jeans, my husband wears slacks... this book was pretty much written for our family. My daughter's eyes lit up when I read this to her. "This is MY family? Is she me?"

Pleased with purchase
I bought this to add to my childminding library and I am very pleased with it, it holds the attention of my minded children at story time (although I do change the wording at story time from American poppa to dad and daddy and it can be a bit long for the younger ones) I would recommend if you wish to add to your book collection about same sex relationships (there is not a lot to choose from out there) but overall the children like it, especially one little one who has two daddys.

Not bad, but not a lot of text
Each page only contains about 1 sentence. I was hoping for a more involved story. Why do all english kids books have to rhyme?

Genial
Offert a une amie pour Noël. Ce livre est parfait pour les enfants, les dessins sont tout mignons. Mon amie n'est plus une enfant mais tenait à avoir ce livre et n'en est pas déçue.
