Soccer Duel

Excellent story and book!

When your 10 year old godson would always rather be outdoors than in and playing soccer rather than reading, you have to find alternatives. This series seems to be a good one. This is the second book he has read in the past few weeks and it got a grudging "pretty good". As far as I'm concerned, that's great.

Not for k kids! To diff to read and understand. Mislabeled at amazon, but seems to be a great story and will work well in the future, when my nephew is older.

This is a great book. I highly recommend the entire series of Matt Christopher books. My 11 yo loves them and the vocabulary and theme are on track and at appropriate level for a 5th grader.

My 10 yr old son is an awesome soccer player, and although a good reader, he seldom enjoys his books. He LOVED this one and even asked for more!

My 11 year old son really enjoyed the book. It's a fun, quick read. He finished it in two days so l'll likely purchase another book from the author.
