Slippery Fish in Hawaii Board book – October 1, 2013

My 4th year Al’s son love it. And I’m very satisfied.

My 13 month old daughter loves this book! Prior to getting this book, I frequently sung and performed the actions to the ‘slippery fish’ song when she was younger. By the time I read the book to her, she knew the melody and was incredibly cheerful. I love how this book encourages a richer and visual understanding of all the sea creatures mentioned in the song (slippery fish, octopus, tuna fish, great white shark, and humongous whale).If I’m working in ECE again, I would definitely buy it for using in the younger classrooms.😀

This book is great fun for kids from 0-5. We bought a bunch for favors for our son's Luau themed first birthday party and they were a big hit. We included little notes with a rhyme that instructed people to look up the song and motions online. The bigger little kids really liked doing the motions and the younger 1-2 year olds love going GULP GULP! OH NO!

Had to buy it twice! Our little one wants to read this book before bed every night and it finally wore out after a year and a half. Definitely suggest listening to the song before reading it with your kiddos.

As CD’s Slippery Fish song is always a class favorite, the kids also love this little board book ! Very cute as they turn pages and sing/ say song. I ordered a second because is very popular with my students and then a third as a gift!

I love this size of the book. I gave it for a gift and it perfect size for the diaper bag.

Good book for pre-school and nursery kids. Good value.

I was so excited to find this song in a book format! I wondered how the "in Hawaii" part would play out but from what I can tell it's just slightly in the illustrations. This is the song I learned from the Charlotte Diamond CD word for word and my daughter loves it!
