Pet Scale

We bought this scale after adopting a Tuxedo cat named Petey from the Humane Society. Because Petey lost his front left leg because of dog attack, it was essential that we maintain his weight.The scale is manual and basically does it job. My only complaint is that it needs frequent recalibration zeroing out. The manufacturer does point out that there can be a 4oz variance in the readings so I give them credit for honesty.I understand from my doctor's nurse that their electronic scales get out of wack by as much as 6 pounds and they have a technician recalibrate them every six months so I guess it's better to have the ability to do it oneself.

This scale is good for it's price and purpose. I don't need to use a scale regularly so I hated to spend a lot of money on one. But this scale seems to be a bit inconsistant. Even after setting the needle to zero, if you push the scale several times, the needle will not always go back to zero. so I just weigh my dogs several times each, I can usually figure out their weight from the several atempts.

I bought this scale to monitor the weight loss/gain of my extremely sick cat. In this case, every ounce is critical. Unfortunately this unit is so inaccurate, that the best I can probably guage is within a half pound or so. I would do just as well picking the cat up and getting on my digital scale.

I am a midget and this scale is perfect. Have to watch my girlish figure in shape. My wife uses it too to weight her tapas.

The Scale works really good for weighing my dog.
