By the time Bonobo plays London's legendary Alexandra Palace on 28th November 2014, the epic career-defining tour around his latest album "The North Borders," the band will have travelled 180,000 miles, taken in 175 shows in 30 countries across 3 continents over 18 months in front of 2 million people. This live album will be released in deluxe packaging with a CD, a 70 page hardback book of photographs and stories from members of the band, as well as a bonus DVD featuring glimpses of hi-speed photography. There will be standalone CD and 2LP edition too, it’s an exhaustive, beautifully captured record of the show. The audio and video were recorded and fifilmed at The Roundhouse in London and in the incredible Pula Arena, a genuine Roman Amphitheatre. In addition, some of the tracks on CD are handpicked from breathtaking live radio sessions that happened whilst on tour. Packaged with the DVD will be moments of documentary footage filmed as the tour reached California

Overall, a great concert experience, but more effort in some areas would've been nice
I saw the record and DVD only has three stars. I believe it deserves more that and I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.Big Bonobo fan, but I wasn't able to go to any of the live shows this year. Bummer. The DVD is actually a really great experience. I really felt the energy. I loved seeing and hearing the studio tracks performed with a live band and each song had interesting musical additions. The drummer was sick. Triana, Cornelia, and Szjerdene all sounded amazing. There were interviews and behind the scenes clips of the tour that was really great to see. There are two negatives. My favorite song, First Fires, is offered in the special features. Sorry to say, but that performance was rubbish. Grey was really pitchy. Wow. Really disappointing. The booklet is only a reprint of Bonobo's and some of the other artist Instagram pics. I've seen those for free. I wish they would've put more effort into it. It would be nice to have something that wasn't free online for a year before they put the book out.For $13, at the time I bought the DVD, book, and CD, not bad. I would've bought just the CD for that price, so it wasn't a bad deal.

vinyl comes with an mp3 download
I think they should release the boiler room sessions' on vinyl cause that concert was better. The live performances are sent badly on here but there not the best that I have heard from other online videos and other shows you can find online when they are on this tour. The vinyl is 180 grams and comes with an mp3 download. I just wish they added more to the vinyl packaging like a booklet like they do with the cd and DVD release. The vinyl version just seems lacking. I would recommend this to people who love bonobo it has some good live takes but not a lot of them.

Gran concierto.
Muy contento con esta compra, la imagen es buena a pesar de ser DVD, el audio también. El concierto es espectacular, Bonobo no defrauda. La presentación también me gustó mucho, las fotos de al gira, los comentarios de los artistas, en fin, muy contento.

I think it's an easy buy.
Just received the vinyl today and it sounds flawless. Comes in quality sleeves too, so doesn't arrive covered in paper dust. The album is very well done., I'd been streaming it since it released and the quality of the vinyl really makes it shine. If you're a fan a Bonobo, I think it's an easy buy.

From A Big Bonobo Fan - Stay Away
The North Borders Tour: Live would be worth it for the CD only at a normal CD price. I was disappointed with the DVD. The DVD is compiled of many different video clips edited together against a live recording. There are many random cuts and it lacks a solid master shot of the band. If your interested in really seeing the Band perform, simply youtube "Bonobo Live" for a cheaper and better alternative:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj2-1wirELI

Great dvd and cd and great quality book
Great dvd and cd and great quality book. Only disappointment was the lack of interviews/words from the band. I was expecting it (being 70 pages) that it would include more in depth comments from the band other than a sentence or 2 from a few members edited on top of double page spread to double page spread.

DVD is particularly good and gives you a good feel to what a live Bonobo gig is like. Highly recommended

A must for Bonobo fans!
The North Borders is a fantastic album and the live version is brilliant with great vocals, band and orchestra. It also includes tracks from previous albums. A must for Bonobo fans!
