1/4 oz 1/2 oz 1 oz Ounce Combo Gold Graphite Ingot Mold Crucible For Melting Casting Refining Scrap Precious Metal Jewelry

I have 13 grams of 9999 gold that I poured into the middle sized (1/2 ozt) slot and quickly noticed that it was not accurate to the description on this product. The ingot I poured in my picture is the smallest slot that is described as 1/4 ozt. So, the realistic weights for these slots are more like 1/3ozt, 1ozt, and 1.5ozt or 2ozt.

Its so tiny lmao its really just adorable. I wasnt paying attention when purchasing this and i thought the measurements about 1/4 1/2 and 1 oz were going to be bigger. Its graphite so it does leave that dark smudge on fingers after handling. Delicate. I feel if i dropped it on a hard surface it would shatter. Works great. Nothing adheres. I use it for lead and its amazing.

This is getting 5 stars because it's amazing.Pros: It can handle extreme temperatures, It can cast three bars in one pour.Cons: For some reason I forgot how dense Gold is coming in at 19.3grams/cubic centimeter, so naturally this product measures 1cm(~1/2inch) in height, and about 6cm(2&1/2 inch) in length and 4cm(1&1/2 inch) in width.basically you can fit 3 of these in the palm of your hand without stacking them.

not disappointed just surprised. It fits in the palm of my hand. I had no sense of scale when i purchased. Thought it was bigger. Cute though.

1 oz of gold is very small so the mold is very tiny.

This ingot mold was meant primarily for casting silver ingots. Since this is a GOLD ingot mold, the cavities are quite small (gold is very dense compared to silver). So I can cast silver ingots, but they are way less than 1 ounce! :)Very nicely made though - stands up to the heat just fine and produces nice, clean ingots.100% satisfied.

Generally, a good product, but it was smaller than I had thought, and it chipped after the first use. I think it is because they tried to put too many molds on such a small piece of material, so that the walls of the mold are rather thin.
