Well-designed, works well, but takes up a lot of room
This is a good idea, with one problem – its sheer size. We have two upright freezers, and during lockdown they are packed with food, and it is very hard to make space for this box.Of course, it can be used as a storage box for other things in the freezer, but we really wanted to make ice-cubes in it and then store them in the box, or just put the cubes into another bag in the freezer so that we could make more in the box. Unfortunately, it takes up almost a whole shelf on its own. We made some temporary space by removing some food to test out the ice-making, and this produced a bag of ice ready for drinks, but at present we won’t be able to use it regularly.Another issue is that you have to remove the box a few minutes before you want to open it, as I believe you need to let the clips defrost slightly before putting any pressure on them. This means that, to use the icecubes on demand, you have to place the cubes into a bag, rather than use them straight from the tray. The box is strong, the clips are secure, and we really like the double layer of the tray, which freezes double the quantity in the same time. The two layers sit well on top of each other, and in a few hours you can have 36 ice-cubes ready to use. The cubes are not huge, but they are more than adequate for most home use, and would be perfect for freezing small quantities of baby food or fruit juice.A good method for freezing various liquids, but practical only if you need a box this big and have enough freezer space to take it.

Ice storage that fits in a freezer drawer
At last, something better than the ice cube trays that was supplied with my fridge freezer. Up until about 4 years ago I had one of those large American Style Fridge freezers, mine didnt connect to the mains water but had a super manual ice system that you twisted a bar and the ice fell into a reservoir underneath, we kept it when the new fridge came but sadly it is too big and only fits in if you remove a complete drawer and it only has 3 and a half. This item though is small enough to fit in a drawer and when the ice has frozen you can empty the cubes into the container to keep fresh and ready for when you need it.We use ours just for plain ice but it suggests you can use it for fruit juice cubes even alcohol ones.Only problem we have is getting the ice out of the cube trays, its a bit of a struggle but once out is easy to remove from the container with the handy scoop provided. In the box is2 Ice cube trays that fit inside theSealed container andHandy scoop

Brittle trays.
At first I really liked this box set. I like the clip lock box, a good size, it fits the trays in nicely, holds a good amount of ice. After about 3 uses, the trays got brittle and I wasn't over flexing them to take the cubes out but it broke nether the less. I'm going to buy rubber ice cube trays next time and still use the box, the shattered plastic is as seen in photo. The 2nd tray did the same next time in use. Not great. Shame.

Looks nothing like the main picture
You have to go to picture 5 or 6 to see what you actually get, 2 trays and a shallow tub. You could pick up the same for less than 5 pounds on a market stall. Pictures 1, 2 and 4 are blatant false advertising.

Easy but expensive
Basically this is just a set of ice cube trays and very expensive ones at that. The difference is that you then have the container you can bung the made up cubes in, then refill the trays to make more. Useful little shovel scoop thingy to get them out of the container, and decent quality plastic, but blimey, £15?! I admit I've always used those bag things but don't like the single use plastic any more. However, I much prefer the silicon trays, which flex and bend more easily to get ice cubes out - and unless you're having a major party (which you might well be once we're out of this wretched lockdown) then who needs more than 36 ice cubes? And who wants watered down beer or wine anyway? So I'm unconvinced about these, although they are fairly compact in a freezer I suppose. But for a big do, cheaper to just buy a £1 bag of ice cubes from the freezer section in your supermarket - that's 15 parties worth.....

Good Size Cubes For G&Ts
Essentially this set consists of two ice cube trays which fit comfortably into the provided "tupperware like" container. The set that I received consisted of two ice cube trays, a small scoop and an appropriately sized container. Not the 4/5 trays and the larger container pictured on the Amazon listing. The ice cube trays work like most plastic trays I've come across....add water/juice. etc freeze then twist the trays a bit to loosen and free the ice cubes. The slight difference I suppose is that you can freeze the cubes while in the container, so keeping a neater freezer and controlling spillage. Something my wife always did anyway with our current ice cube trays, but with a plastic container she bough in a supermarket. The real benefit to us of this ice cube tray set is the size of the ice cubes themselves. They 're just the right size for a G&T , whisky or other short drink. Not those larger blocks that are more suited to longer or kids drinks.

Ice cubes 🧊
This is a great space saving idea, buying bags of ice they just stick together, but with the box makes life bit easier...just in time for nice weather, kids are making fruit cubes...

Nice enough.
You get three different things here. 2x Ice Cube trays and a sealable container that they fit inside. The ice cube trays don't fit inside the Container tightly enough to prevent spillage inside the container - so you still need to ensure it can sit flat inside your freezer. But this does mean that if it gets knocked over accidentally before fully freezing, it doesn't make a huge mess and make you need to defrost the freezer. The sealable container is actually really good quality as well - I may or may not have removed it from this set to use as a lunchbox as it is the perfect size for long sandwich rolls/subs!Everything is really well made though.
