This pillows are so comfortable. There is a slight smell, but it goes away after a while. Only problem I had was the zipper got stuck on the pillow, so I am unable to wash it. Bummer, but the pillows are great.

Amazing pillows that really helped my neck. They have a unique feel and may not please everyone
These pillows are very comfortable and, in the long-term, have been great for my neck. That said, they have a really unique feel and take some getting used to. Depending on your preference, they may not be the best choice. They will seem quite firm and are, but they also soften up nicely as you sleep on them and I'd say they're fairly described as firm with a nice soft coating. For the first week I used them, they felt amazing. Then, my neck (which has always been a little messed up from sleeping on my side on soft, unsupportive pillows) started to hurt. I gave the pillows another two weeks of use and the, amazingly, I felt better than ever. My neck not only doesn't hurt from the Somus pillows, the neck problems I had before (neck tension and a constant urge to "crack" my spine) are gone! Now the pillows feel awesome and I miss them whenever I travel.

Like sleeping on a rock
Bought these at a very low price through a Groupon deal and honestly that is the only way you should ever consider buying them. I understand there are different types, levels, and quality of memory foam; I sleep on a Tempur-pedic mattress and I consider that to be true memory foam. I do not consider these pillows to be memory foam as they have little give and for my money I'd rather sleep on a rock. Right now this pillow makes a very comfortable bed for my dog so at the price point where I purchased them I can't complain but I would never, ever use these or recommend them for a good nights sleep.Somus sent me an email requesting I post a review and I did so with similar comments on their website. However, one star reviews are not their cup of tea as my review was not "approved". If you look on their site you will find only four and five star reviews so their policy regarding reviews says a lot about the company and likely about the products as well.
