ShutterBands ButtonBumps Compatible with Sony E-Mount Cameras

I wanted to try these out on my A7iii and A9 to make it easier to find certain buttons without taking my eye away from the viewfinder when shooting sports or weddings. They work “okay” for that purpose IMO. Installation is easy, and they stick fairly well if you’re not using your camera hard. If you use it as a tool and don’t baby it, then you’ll pop a few off or at least have them scooted over and only covering half a button by the end of a long wedding or sports tournament. The shutter sticker is pretty much useless on A7/A9 bodies since they have a curved button and it doesn’t stick well. Not a big deal for me, as I mainly wanted to use them for marking the video and replay buttons. For those flat buttons they tend to work fine. The menu button is so small that it doesn’t take long for it to get pushed around and not stick very well anymore. Maybe they’ve improved the application procedure, because a couple of weeks after I ordered these, I received unsolicited replacements in the mail with updated instructions.... so kudos to the company there for being proactive. I haven’t used those yet since I just don’t really like the feel of the rubbery bumps as much as I thought I would. If they were smoother and mildly textured I might like them better than the current sticky rubber. I slide my fingers across buttons all the time and I found these bumps to be too sticky, causing them to catch on my fingertips and either causing me to press the button awkwardly or eventually pulling the bump up from the button. IMO a flatter, textured sticker would work better for how I work. I still have one stuck to my video button, to make sure I don’t accidentally hit that instead of using AF-ON for back button focus. I rarely use video, so it works nicely to identify that button by feel.

Love the product, I like the shutter button feel but also since several sony lenses are coming with button on their bodies I got addict to this product.You need to place it and leave it for 1/2 days without touching it so it stay properly glued, if you place it and immediately begin to touch the button it will come out.

This is great if you're constantly switching between 2 or more cameras with different button layouts. I put a button bump on the button I use for back button auto focus on each camera I use. Extremely helpful for casual shooters like myself!

The kit includes an assortment of rubber bumps to put on camera buttons to help with locating them. There are probably more than you need - more than one for each button for my A6500 and I did not really need them on every button, just the ones I have trouble locating quickly. I think I do need to add just one more however but that's not a problem. They're easy to apply and work well.

This is a fine product that makes camera use easier through a tactile feel.

They absolutely will not stay on over time. Some of the sheltered buttons like the function button it may survive . I’ve tried two packs now. The stick on the shutter does improve feel and has stayed put well. I am a professional so my wear and use the the camera might be heavier than a weekend user

After using the camera once, without realizing half of them were gone. They won’t stay unless you just don’t use your camera.
