Erasmic Soap Bowl ER98351

I’ve used this product before, with excellent results. My local shop doesn’t stock it anymore and I was pleased to find it online, sadly it failed to create a lather, and it’s useless to me.

I will never buy again. This product just does not work-does not create lather and is therefore useless.

This the second time bought this, partner loves it and wouldn't use anything else for shaving

Thought I try Erasmic shaving soap after I had used up my Arko brand block. It is so bad at getting a lather that I thought I must have left a paper packing disc on top of the soap block, but no, it really was that bad. After about 3 minutes of vigorous work with a wet shaving brush I finally got some thin, scummy foam, but no real lather. Yes, I live in a hard water area, but the previous Arko soap I used would lather up just fine, so it's not simply a water issue.I hate waste, so it pains me to throw it away, but adding 5 minutes to my shave each morning just so I can get a thin layer of bubbles on my face is more of a waste (of time), so I will be ditching it & going back to Arko, which at least I know works

This is one of the cheaper shaving soaps on Amazon. It lathers poorly and I’ve used much more of it than I would have expected. I won’t buy again.

I've wet shaved all my life and love the smoothness of the skin once clean shaven. This soap produces a good thick lather which aids the shaving process. The scent is not over powering with a slight fragrance there. I would recommend this soap to any wet shavers out there. I can't comment on the longevity yet as only just used it once.
