Deulen 2-3/4" x 18" PSA Abrasives

This is good enough, but nothing special. The width of the paper rolls could be a little wider, though the adhesive backing is absolutely wonderful & makes for easy application to glass. Not sure if I would buy again, we'll see how everything goes when these wear down.

Just to corroborate what has already been. The Deulen sharpening jig is a well-made and effective device for sharpening planer blades. The sandpaper assortment is cut to size (2.75" x 18") and has a pressure-sensitive adhesive back for mounting to a lapping plate (any smooth, flat surface), however the sandpaper is rather thin and the grit does not hold up well to sharpening steel.Buy the associated sharpening jig but use sanding belts (3" x 21" or 4" x 24") of the appropriate grits (400, 320, 220, 180, 150, 120, 100), cut to lay flat and mount with spray adhesive to some form of lapping plate (plate glass, flat steel or even a small rectangle of 3/4" MDF). This creates a more durable and aggressive surface for sharpening.
