Vdera SPLAT-AC-3J Splat Orange Auto-Clean Cleaning Putty - 3 oz.

This is seriously FUN to use! Recently I have had to be a passenger in my own beloved 4-year old Saturn Vue while I healed from [blah blah blah]. Ok, I have not enjoyed staring at the dashboard of my own aging car...Along comes SPLAT, which I found while browsing Amazon way too late one night. This is great stuff for an aging car - I used this during a 20 minute drive, and my whole dash, CD, clock, knobs, and shift area look like new. Had to restrain myself from leaning over the driver and getting into his space to clean out the nooks and crannies over there. I'll sit in the driveway and do that today while listening to a CD.I wouldn't hesitate to hand this to my father-in-law, or an annoying 10-year old on a long drive, or my own sorry self, stuck in the passenger seat. This orange goop gets down into the tiny molded bits and cleans out everything that a California Duster doesn't, and an Armorall Wipe isn't designed to. I'm usually happy if I get the food crumbs and all of my blond hairs out of the front of the car, but this non-slime made the car look showroom new.Look, I never thought of myself as one of those car nuts, but this is the first car I have ever bought new, and I'm planning to keep it for another 10 years. I'd really like it if it didn't look like a mobile trash can. SPLAT is now definitely part of my car maintenance tool kit, and probably a gift to my Dad, brother in law, and - ok everyone for stockings.

First time I used Splat it worked great. I closed the container well and it sat on a shelf for about a year. I just went to open it and it's runny and unusable. The label nor the company website mentions anything about this problem, its cause nor its solution. Best thing to do is probably to open and use it periodically.

This stuff took away ALL dust and dirt on my keyboard, even in the fine groove that runs all the way around the keyboard. It truly made my keyboard look brand new. I cant wait to use it on my car! The ONLY thing I didnt like was the fact that it does stick to your fingers, at least when it's brand new, so you have to fight with it a little to get it back into the jar. But that wont keep me from buting this product again!

I don't normally write reviews on products, but this is so awful that I had to. I ordered a quantity of two (one for my car and one for my office. There is nothing "putty" about this product. It is the consistency of slimy goo. Pouring it into your hands (yes, pouring) is a horrible mistake. It sticks to your hands and requires scraping it back into the container, then washing your hands. I poured some on a flat surface and again, it never became a consistency that would peel up. I scraped it off, then used a household cleaner to get the rest up. I tried refrigerating it and leaving it open, hoping that it would thicken enough to actually be a putty..no such luck. I wouldn't even consider using this in air vents or any other nook or cranny, unless I wanted orange goo to be oozing out. Don't waste your money. This product is not what it is labeled as.

As far as cleaning the area around the radio/ac it worked well. However, I have a Prius and it left a lot of odd marks on the dash, so I'm going to have to clean those. It is also VERY oozy on your hands. I had a problem trying to keep it from "pouring" out.

Seriously, this stuff had the consistency of my Ghostbusters Slime I would play with as a kid. Maybe I received a defective unit, no clue, but this stuff was a mess. It didnt leave residue on the items I cleaned with it (laptop mostly), but it sure LOVED to stick to my hands.I was hoping for more a Play-Doh consistency, but this stuff was unmanageable from the start.

Great stuff, with a limited lifespan. Basically, you pour this down the hard-to-clean places on your car or truck, like cup holders or dash control panels, and it picks up dirt and crumbs. Also works well on keyboards. As it fills with debris it will lose its effectiveness and you can toss it.

It was really gooey and not usable. I tired to dry it out by leaving the lid off for a few hours, but it didn't help.
