This product couldn't get hot enough to for cotton floss, it simply flung sugar crystals out of the center creating a hard ring around the sides, definatly not worth the time.

Pay a little more have less frustration
Don't waste your money. The heating element melts the sugar strands almost as quickly as they form. If you put the cone to try and get them, they just clump together. I am guessing that possibly ours might be defective, however, I have cleaned it 4 times and tried 4 times. I am done. In the trash it goes and I will look for a more professional model. Don't even feel like cleaning it again. Lesson learned. I got this about 4 months ago before trying it out. Now I can't return it.
