IT DOCUMENTS DIFFERENT TYPES OF ELECTRODES AND THEIR APPLICATIONS , COVERS TECHNIQUES, NICE CLOSE UP SHOTS. THE WELDER IS VERY RELAXED AND COMMUNICATES WELL , GOOD ENTRY LEVEL DVD , I STRONGLY SUGGEST PURCHASING B O T H ARC1 AND ARC2 DVDS. THE INVESTMENT WILL SHOW IN YOUR FINISHED WELDS.

This is the "old school" way to weld. Might still be the best for many situations. Anyway, I wanted to learn welding and these DVDs present it in a way that is very easy to understand. I enjoyed watching and learning from them.

This is a good video for beginning welders. I got it for training new hires how to weld. It is a useful tool. They cover all the basics in-depth. While the instruction is a little boring--kind of hard to make it interesting--just keep in mind that the instructor looks like the construction worker from the Village People. It will give you a light hearted laugh and keep you awake during the slow points.

Trying to get my mojo back after not having struck an arc in 25 years. Excellent refresher. Excellent focus on safety.
