A hefty piece of equipment
There are two bits, a regular screw bit and a chisel bit (looks more like a punch) to be used on hard and soft wood respectively. These bits go in the centre. The hex screw for the centre is pretty small, and it requires a bit of skill to tighten or loosen it, taking care not to scrape your fingers against the two blades on the sides. There's an allen key provided in the kit, but I thought it better to use a hex bit from my Stanely set to get more grip to loosen the screw.The two blades on the sides get hex screws too. Loosening them and moving the bits about the horizontal length is easy enough.Not yet tried on wood, but looks ok. The thing is heavy for sure.
