Wonderful book for beginners Tagalog. My kids were born in the Philippines but learned to speak in the US. Now that we are back this is a great vocabulary builder. Beautiful pictures and easy to learn. Book is hard cover and high quality paper.

On page 4 the book declares that the indigenous were colonized by the Spaniards and later the US and Japanese. It then went on to imply, falsely, that Austronesians are indigenous to the Philippines and not colonizers themselves. This glaring falsehood ought to be corrected.

Book is in amazing condition. Hard bound with vibrant colors for the pictures inside. Will definitely be a great tool to aid in teaching my wife and daughter Tagalog.

I decided to buy this Tagalog Picture Dictionary to help teach my little brother Tagalog as well as refresh my memory on the language. My little brother absolutely loved this dictionary as the format is REALLY easy to understand, includes many colorful pictures, and comes with a free downloadable audio version to help with the pronunciation of the words! The audio really helped my little brother pronounce these words and phrases correctly. Personally, I liked how each chapter is divided into separate themes such as "Life in the City" and "Seeing a Doctor" as it covered every aspect of life. I would definitely recommend this Picture Dictionary to all new, and old Tagalog learners.

This is so unbelievably useful. When I was thumbing through it, I thought, "Okay, I will never have a chance to use that" but I'm just starting to learn Tagalog and guess what? I do have to use these words! Everything is easy to find and it's so practical for a traveler or beginning student.

Very informative very easy to follow, it even provides you with a downloadable link for a read along so as to hear the pronunciation of the tagalog word. Helps my daughter a lot, as she is told (by me) to memorize two pages a day. Thank you!

This is exactly what I have been searching for...a way to boost my vocabulary of common words. The sentence structure and pronunciation guide at the front was a fantastic bonus, as I can't usually get native speakers to explain why "like this, like that".

Whilst learning Tagalog its useful to use more than one source and whilst I was following a course I saw this book. Its useful tips simple presentation makes this a joy to read and learn from. The layout and text is concise and clear, I just love it.
