Minor shocks in MacBook casing
It's well and good. The monitor sleeps with Mac sleep and wakes up when Mac is woken up. I don't have to reconnect the monitor even time Mac wakes from sleep like how I found out that some people had to do with other dongles. You can feel it strongest when touching the fingerprint reader.The problem is also when I completely switch off the monitor power supply but keep all the other connections. That is connect the dongle to Mac, connect monitor with the dongel and do not connect monitor to power supply. That time the fingerprint reader gives a very mild shock.To give more details the monitor power cord is 3 pin and the power source is from an extension cord with 3 pin itself.For the time being I can make do, using it as it is, but my Mac will go in for a toss if I continue.I don't know what to do.
