Host Defense Stamets 7 Mushroom Powder, Immune Support, 3.5 oz

This is part of my daily regimen, in place of a multi-vitamin. As a post-menopausal woman, I take separate D3, calcium and magnesium, but I feel this product helps keep my immune system up, and I rarely get sick!

I've been taking since July. I have not been sick yet. My kids or others around me have been sick many times, including 2 coworkers that tested positive for Covid. This stuff really works. I actual notice a tingling sensation from time to time on the back of my neck or spine. After taking the stuff for so long this is my indication that it's fighting off an illness. I tend to notice it if I start to feel a little bit sick. I never end up getting a fully sick anymore like I used to whenever anybody around me would have a cold or anything I would always catch it. Not anymore. I will continue taking it forever. I'm also going to start implementing it into dinners for the whole family as immune support. I already give that to my kids in applesauce And have noticed a difference in their recovery time for illnesses. I think if I add it into our regular diet, my family will remain a lot healthier in general. Great product. Fyi- I buy the powder and scoop it right into my mouth with some water and swallow down. The taste is not great at first but after a while it becomes no issue whatsoever. However, if you don't feel like doing that you can buy capsules on Amazon and fill them, but taking pills gets old. Try to incorporate it into your meals at home buy sprinkling a 1/2 teaspoon or more any chance you get. Mix into applesauce. You don't taste it at all. Enjoy!

As I approached my 60th birthday last year I decided it was time to make some lifestyle changes. I needed to shed extra mid-life poundage and supplement my immune system and brain health (post-menopause brain fog). I committed to eating a clean, nutrient-dense diet (all the time, not just some of the time) and this product was part of those changes. I verify all of my supplements in my SuppCo app to insure a high Trustscore. This scored at the top so I added it to my monthly auto-ship. I put ½ tsp in my morning coffee, which is also the vehicle for my grass-fed collagen powder and daily creatine. It adds an earthy flavor to my coffee, but is not off-putting and dissolves reasonable well--I use a frother to mix my coffee before adding my regenerative farm half & half and a ½ tsp of honey (I tried to give up sugar entirely, but just couldn't give up the titch of honey in my morning coffee). This container lasts a month with both my husband and I using it daily. I feel considerably better than I did a year ago, but it's hard to quantify how much is attributable to this particular product as I've lost 50 lbs as well. That being said, my brain fog has improved significantly and I feel better overall. It has a pleasant smell and I don't mind the earthy flavor dimension it adds to my coffee (look at all the folks drinking mushroom coffee, it can't be all bad). It's a bit on the pricier side, but I think the quality makes it well worth the cost per month.

It really does help me feel better and gives me a boost of energy to my day. I use it everyday in my energy drink, I take 2 tsp. For my Ehlers-Danlos symptoms and it works miracles. It can make me feel anywhere from 9-14% better which is huge for me and I cannot live without it. I now prefer my energy drink with my 1 tsp mixed in rather than it not because I like the taste. It’s kind of earthy, and it’s not that hard to mix in. I either mix it in a shaker bottle or closed lid bottle, or I use an electric frother to mix it up. I don’t find that there’s an aftertaste. I’ve been taking it for over 2 years straight and I definitely have seen the physical benefits overtime as well. My body feels less like a puppet on strings and more like I can feel my limbs connected to me (the ehlers danlos connective tissue issues). I religiously use this and probably always will.

Stamets is a name I trust above all others when it comes to mushroom products. This daily immune support mushroom mycelium powder is everything I’ve come to expect from the Host Defense brand with one very notable exception: they are still packaging their products in plastic containers. As a health forward shopping looking for a natural, holistic experience in the products I choose it’s seems counterintuitive to be buying products I will consume that are contributing to the microplastics contamination and the huge plastic pollution issue earth is facing. It seems so at odds with everything I feel this brand’s mission is. That being said, the product itself is fabulous. Mixes easily into my morning coffee or tea with no notable flavor change or odd texture. I’ve noticed that if I take this during summer festival season I don’t pick up viruses like I used to. (Paired with stringent handwashing of course!) I do a lot of large conventions as well and anytime I’m going to be around a large crowd I take this for a couple of weeks before, during, and after the event. Works so well for me! Almost a perfect rating, but the plastic issue really is a glaring oversight in my opinion. Still, I would absolutely recommend this product for those wanting a natural immune booster.

I trust Host Defense mushroom products. .Stamets 7 covers a lot of bases and I find this is a great blend. I add them in yogurt, smoothies and my morning cacao drink. Can’t go wrong with this great product!

I suffer from daily anxiety and adhd where my mind is always racing and trying to just feel good. On top of that, I had a cancer scare that I had to get removed. Although the cancer is supposedly gone, I wanted something that will improve my overall wellness and immunity. The gut is linked to all of this so after learning about the power of mushrooms and Paul Stamets, I decided to try taking this supplement. I’ve been taking it for around a month now and I did not realize the benefits of it at first. Slowly, I can realize that I am slowing down, becoming more mindful, and the anxiety is not nearly what it was. For me, consistency is the key.. Even while job hunting in a stressful time in my life, I’m feeling much more at ease than before. I do not think this is a cure all, but it’s defiantly a start. I only take it 1-2 doses a day, and could probably benefit from more. Just wanted to share my experience. I plan to purchase Stamet’s Mind and Body mix after I finish this container in hopes of bumping up the dosage a bit (the dosages in this mix seem pretty low compared to the other products- probably because it’s a bigger mixture. I usually put it in smoothies but when I do not feel like a smoothie, I’ve just been mixing it into a small bowl of applesauce and eating it in a few spoonfuls. Very great value for your money without the capsules. Cannot reccommended this stuff enough as a start to managing your health. My gut thanks you, Paul!
