I use this De’Longhi knock box every morning and afternoon for multiple espresso shots a day, and it’s easily one of the highest-quality coffee accessories I own. It looks classy on the counter and feels built to last. The build quality is the standout feature. The polished stainless steel is clean, smooth, and resists scratching better than expected. The rubber knock bar is thick, well-secured, and feels like it will hold up for years of daily use. The non-slip base works well, and the entire unit disassembles easily for cleaning. Cleanup is quick, and being dishwasher safe is an added convenience. Functionally, it performs exactly as intended and keeps espresso puck disposal clean and mess-free. If I had one minor complaint, it would be the opening diameter. The mouth is a bit narrow, and I prefer knocking out the puck in one clean piece when possible. There have also been a few times where I’ve clipped the side of the box, which is never a pleasant sound. That said, this is more a matter of personal preference than a design flaw and doesn’t impact overall quality or usability. Overall, this is an excellent knock box with premium materials and thoughtful construction. It’s an easy recommendation for serious coffee enthusiasts who value durability, design, and long-term performance.

I’m not sure why but never knew these existed. I got tired of banging the portafilter on the side of the plastic garbage can and ripping the bag! One day I decided to look for a better option and found this! Love it! It’s sturdy and can handle the bang to get the wet grounds out. It looks good on the counter and is easy to clean.

This is an essential item for anyone that enjoys their espresso machine! The rubber "thing" that you knock the portafilter on makes it easy to remove the puck. The box is easy to clean. Also makes it easy to dump the grounds in my garden. Highly recommend!

The product works well, but it is much smaller than I expected. I was tired of banging on the trash bin to knock out espresso grounds, not to mention the subsequent smell in the trash, and this solves that problem. I did place a plastic bag in the knock box to catch the grounds and when closed it contains the smell as well. On trash day I simply put the plastic bag in the trash and replace it with a fresh bag. Since it is small I can place it under my sink and it is out of the way. I've yet to wash it, but I don't anticipate any problems.

This lil knock box is sturdy and looks great on my counter top. We don’t use it everyday so need to remember to empty weekly or mold will grow in the grounds. It holds plenty of coffee “pucks” but is small enough to be unobtrusive on counter next to expresso machine. Has a beautiful shine and is stable with a pad on bottom so it won’t slide around and is quite with use. Very sturdy bar on top too. Well made and great design. So glad I did my research as I’m very happy with my purchase.

Bel inox brillant, de bonne qualité. Je l'ai depuis plusieurs années. J'ai enlevé les poignées et j'y ai mis dedans les petites cuillères (longues cuillères à glace, car grand mug) à côté de mon percolateur De 'Longhi (cafetière) J'en suis super contente, ça fait bien dans ma cuisine. Je recommande !

Excelente opción para colectar el café usado. Buen tamaño, pequeño pero ideal para una cafetera de un hogar.

und tut was es soll. Ich kann einige Rezessionen wegen dem Rost nicht verstehen. Man kann alles problemlos auseinander schrauben und den Edelstahlbehälter in den Geschirrspüler geben. Alles fein. lediglich die Schraube die den Gummischutz hält sollte man nicht reinlegen.
