Sony Ericsson VH-700 Noise Shield Handsfree - Black

A friend of mine has the Vh300 version and recommended it to me when I mentioned needing a Bluetooth headset for using my phone while driving. The VH300 seems to have been discontinued so picked one of these instead. Have had some problem with Bluetooth headsets prior to this one, ranging from phone connection problems to getting the headset to sit comfortably in my ear. Have had none of these problems with the Vh700. Simple to operate, connects to my phone quickly, battery life is excellent and the ear piece can be used with either ear.

convenient and I like that you can hang the earpiece around your neck until needed. Unfortunately my sony xperia miro threw a wobbler when connected and random dialled contacts from my phone. This was a fault with the phone though as it did a similar thing with a different bluetooth hands free too.

I thought Sony were going to improve on the VH-300 headset, as I bought this because I lost my VH-300. I was wrong. It doesn't fit the ear properly, the sound is poor and clip broke after only 2 months of use. So now I ordered another VH-300 which is the previous model but is 10 times better. My advice is to avoid this one, the VH-700.

This handsfree is good when it works, but it often gives you so much noise that you can hardly hear the other side. I would not recommend this product.

The device is nice with good finish and most of the times the voice is very clear. Rarely the voice is not clear and also loses connection with the phone, but I think it happens with all bluetooth headsets as I have used other models before and faced the same situation with them as well. Overall, a nice product that does what it is born to do.

I have used lots of BT headsets over the years. This is by far the best. I was sad to discover that its not manufactured anymore. Sound quality is superb, it is easy to wear, both in use and idle. Its comfortable and lacks the itchy in-ear rubber plug.
