Like all of our watches, this Oris Aquis Date Automatic Stainless Steel Black Dial Divers Mens Watch is brand new and comes in its original packaging. Oris was founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in the Swiss town of Hölstein. They bought the recently closed Lohner & Co watch factory, and on June 1, 1904, the two men entered into a contract with the local mayor. They named their new watch company Oris, after a nearby brook. While shopping for Oris watches online, you’ll notice the fine quality and particular style of each. For over 100 years, Oris has maintained a reputation in the watch world for their sturdy yet stylish watches.

Fantastic!
The Oris Aquis is a fantastic time piece in every respect. Magnificent craftsmanship and beautiful finish on all surfaces. Rock solid band and clasp. The bezel is perfectly aligned and all 120 clicks per revolution are sharp and crisp. The ceramic bezel insert is perfectly finished, often appearing dark glossy gray in certain lighting conditions. As for accuracy, I'm gaining about 12 seconds per day, which is well within an acceptable range for an automatic movement.Note: The Aquis wears smaller than the dimensions suggest. I was torn between the 41.5mm and 43.5mm versions and glad that I opted for the larger size. For reference, I have a 7.25" wrist (above the wrist bone where a watch should be worn).
