Magnitude Lighting Converters E96L24DC-KO 96W 24VDC Voltage Dimmable Class 2 LED Driver

I'm using this with 8 meters of 24V LED string controlled by an Insteon dimmer and it works pretty well. I can dim down to 10% which is barely visible in the dark. For a dim glow we use 18% and for dining 22%. Between those two values I can perceive an annoying flicker, although my wife doesn't see it. People vary.My only objection is that the space in the enclosure for the connectors is really too small. It's nice having the overall size small, but these are really a bit too small for ease of use.

I installed a WAC Lighting 24VAC LED driver to power some LED tape lights. Unfortunately, the tape lights were strobing and driving me crazy. I found a comment somewhere on the web that I should try a 24VDC driver instead of AC. This Magnitude driver fit the bill and was cheaper than the WAC brand equivalent. It was easy to install with enough room in the integral j-box. I suggest you buy smaller than normal wire nuts to make the fit easier. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I bought 2 of them 1 month ago. One started lights flashing soon after installation. No dimmer, only 56W load. It kept flashing even with 4W load.I tried to replace it with 2nd one. 2nd one could handle only 56W of load without the lights flashing. So, I had to add another driver to handle 64W of the total load.

Very well made product. Undercounter LED strip do not flicker with the dimmer listed on their wen site. Wires easily and is a UL product for safety. I am not worried about my house burning down with this transform.

Bought two of these for high quality LED under counter lights in two locations. One is a about a 10' long run of LED strip and the other is under wet bar shelves, about 15' run of lights. The lights look great. No flicker. Quality product. Using with ordinary Lutron dimmer switch with no problems. I recommend.
