Easy to use keyboard case for an ipad
I am loving my iPad keyboard case very much. I do genealogy which means I need to locate many sites online and this requires me to use the keyboard for a faster way to enter the information. I like the lit keyboard since I sometimes do research after my husband and I go to bed. We turn off the room light but I can still work because of the lighted keyboard. Being able to change colors is a big plus.

Beware! Not all the keys work all the time...
- I purchased this for an iPad Air. The fit was perfect - quite snug, in fact. There is no danger of the iPad falling out. The color was okay, maybe a little brighter purple than it appeared online. The matte finish, while smooth without being slippery, and soft to the touch, is still problematic. Fingerprints easily show up on the surface all the time and remain there. Not a huge concern for most folks but definitely noticeable. The other functions, such as the colored backlighting on the keys is consistent. I had no trouble with BlueTooth pairing the keyboard-case to the iPad. It holds a good charge. I have had it for over a couple months and I have not had to recharge the keyboard in that time. It does seem to have a good auto shut-off to conserve battery-life, but comes right back to life as soon as I touch the keys. The positioning rotation feature of the screen holder is stiff but reliable and definitely does not feel like it would suddenly sag or let go and fall flat. - The real negative issue with this particular keyboard case is that the keys do not all connect/register on the iPad consistently. Sometimes all the keys work fine - not great but they work within an acceptable range of strike pressure. However, quite often certain keys (The "A", the "C", the apostrophe and the "S", among others more randomly) simply will not work without having to strike them much harder than the rest - sometimes repeatedly - before the letter will translate to the iPad's screen. I have tried and tried to determine the cause - maybe the position of the screen or how open it is...? I don't know. There seems to be no pattern to it. - I purchased a different case this last fall that I really loved. It had none of the problems I've enumerated for this case. If that iPad had not been stolen, I'm sure I would still be enjoying its many qualities.Unfortunately, the issue with this specific keyboard case has become such an ongoing frustration - to the point of literally impeding how I interface with my iPad that I have removed the iPad from the keyboard case and I'm seriously thinking of just trashing it. Or maybe I'll donate it to friends with a little kid who just wants to play around with a _"pretend"_ keyboard because sadly, at this point, that's all this case seems to be. What a waste of $65!

Good design, but potential issue with IOS 13.2
I purchased this 6 months ago in April and I really liked the style and functionality for the past 6 months. Now suddenly the keys on the keyboard have changed sensitivity. For a keyboard to be usable, you need the keystrokes to be quick and smooth, which they were initially, but now I have to hold each key for too long before it captures on screen. Imagine typing 5 to 10 words per minute! I was able to contact the seller through Amazon email. They were very responsive and sent me a replacement out very quickly, however, the problem persists with the replacement keyboard. I suspect it might possibly be an issue with IOS compatibility, or possibly some automatic setting change with the IOS 13.2 update? Additional support to resolve the issue is pending.Update; the seller was unable to resolve the issue but did provide a full refund so I have updated this review to reflect good customer service for the product.

For 24 hours - I love it so far!
I’ve purchased 4 ipad covers with keyboards in the last 4 years... this is the best one so far! The keys feel great, the color is a refreshing change (purple. I had rose gold before). With a lithium battery I am hopeful that it will last well. I have had finti, cooper and a nameless brand and spent from $30-60. This cover is hard, but feels a little like rubber, giving it a texture that is easy to grip/not slippery. Even though I have only had it for 24 hours, this one feels the best quality so far. Time will tell...

Great product!
This is the best keyboard case, that I have ever had. I have had three. My first two, both had their hinges broken. One after a year and one after 2 months. I don't know how this one's hinge will hold up. The keys feel very nice and I have not experienced skipped letters. I also like the the 3 lights that show if it's charging, in pairing mode, and battery status. I recommend this case highly.

Durable, charges separately from iPad.
I replaced a keyboard that I had originally purchased with my iPad. I like all of the features of the keyboard but doubt I will use them. The one thing I was disappointed with is that I have to charge the keyboard separately. My old keyboard never had to charge. Still I think this one is more durable than my old one and I am happy with the purchase overall.
