Bristles are in the softer side
The brush is large and a good quality build but the bristles are on the softer side. Just doesn’t seem to work quite as well for polishing shoes as it doesn’t seem stiff enough to take off the excess polish. Works good for take it off dust and lint though.

That shine though!
Used it for the first time the other day with shoe polish to finish off my shine. I did the side by side comparison with and without brush and though the shine wasn't shinier by a clear margin as I expected, the brush did its job in the small crevices of the shoe. It's worth it if you want the polish residue in your shoe!
