I bought this to fill the void left between the front seats of my old Crown Victoria police car. The gap makes a snug fit, so I didn't use any mounting hardware, and I don't think this console has moved an inch since I installed it. The cupholders work fine for your basic plastic water bottle, but they do not work for larger insulated bottles, as they just fall right out or don't fit to begin with from my experience. The locking compartment is an absolute joke, a determined 4 year old could open it, the platic wall is that flimsy. The compartment itself is very spacious, providing plenty of space for notebooks, gloves, pens, cool rocks, snack, and whatever else you want to fit in there. I've seen other find almost the same product in big box stores for half the price, but Amazon was the only place I could find it. Overall, very good product, especially at this price.

Pros: The console is by far the lease expensive console available for the features it provides and well worth buying. Easily fits in my police cruiser center console with little enough wiggling that I didn't even bother with screwing it in. It is nice and roomy with the main storage area able to accomidate pretty much everything you need. The 4 cupholders work well, though not as well as some modern cars that have the cupholders that expand/contact to hold cups in place. The change slots are nice for having for toll booths and change meters if you still use those. Cons: Do NOT buy for the lock. Very flimsy plastic. If someone was going to steal from your vehicle a quick yank would easily break the lock so it is not worth locking,in fact, I'd prefer if this unit came without the lock as it just makes it look like you might have something valuable worth stealing... so I usually leave it cracked open to suggest I didn't bother locking it so you don't need to bother with robbing me. It comes with screws to screw the console in place, however, it does NOT have holes pre-drilled in the console and the console and the included screws may or may not fit your car. So you will need a drill or electric screwdriver or you can always take the lazy route and use duct tape or like me, just leave it there and not mind if it wobbles a little. Bottomline: If you are buying for the price, the large storage, and the features then go for it. Very good deal. If you are buying because you want to lock your console or want a high quality console you can probably spend $50-$100 more and get that but this isn't it. I gave it 5 stars because I am rating it based on the price I paid for it compared to other similar consoles and, for the price, it is definately a 5 star console.

I can't believe how expensive plastic consoles can get. That said, this is a pretty decent floor console to add a few drink holders and some basic storage. I installed it in a 2007 Dodge Caravan and it fits pretty well. I've found only two issues. First, it's pretty light...light enough I was concerned it may tip over in turns. To remedy that, I added a 26-5/8" long piece of 1x6 across the bottom of the unit in a front-to-back orientation. That added some much-needed weight and the unit is now a lot more stable. Second, as others have noted, the lock is an absolute joke. Nobody is going to secure anything of value in the console, so why not just have a small handle or knob? Silly. The made-in-USA part is nice...and the main reason I selected this particular piece.

Fits perfect for 2007 caravan base model right in middle. Extra cups space is useful excellent size n quality.

It fit real nice in my 08 Honda CRV. It is kinda cheaply made and the lock isn't very good. I modified it so it would at least work. It would still be very easy to force it open without using any tools. Otherwise I'm satisfied with it for the price. Much better then the tray like thing that was there before.

Works great in my work van. I use a ford transit that doesn't have any center console storage so this really helped to keep my van organized while providing me a lot more extra space for drinks. It is a PERFECT fit for the Ford transit sitting neatly and snug between the two seatbelt buckles without blocking them. Easy to clean and the build quality is great for the value. Well worth the money to improve my day to day work life.

Very cheap construction. The upper cup holder was cracked. It actually just sits on top of the console. Very loosely. I would not trust putting any drink in the cup holder. This is very funny because it comes with a locking slider top. But if you just pull the top cup holder off with no effort at all. There is a 4 or 5 inch opening to the bottom space that is supposed to be secure.

I have this console between the front seats of my 2007 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. It fits in with the van so well that my daughter didn't know I added it--she thought it was an original part! The small storage areas are perfect for loose change, writing utensils, sunglasses, or anything you need to keep near. The larger, covered storage area can be locked and is a great place to store larger items or those you don't want visible--I have my CD's (yes, I'm still old school with my music), the required vehicle paperwork (I can't reach the glovebox from the driver seat), snacks, and in the winter, I add a hat and gloves. Most important for me is the cupholders!! There are 2 in front and 2 in back so I can take extra bottles with me on longer trips or the center row passengers can also have a place to hold beverages when I have my family or multiple friends with me. I didn't want to spend as much as I did, but honestly it is worth every penny.

Absolutely stoked with this Console, it's an absolutely perfect fit and it's really well-made. I cut out a couple of notches at the front so it sits flat on the floor which works really well because this also stops the console from moving and it looks really nice and is very stylish. I really like how it's the exact width I needed, and I can still get my hand in to work the handbrake as well, without even touching the console, very very happy with this and exactly what I was looking for. Absolute perfect fit! Great to have cup holders in the back too now!
