The sharpener works moderately well, although it's efficacy seems to depend on the shape of the blade. Not all knives sharpen equally. As for the quality of the device itself, the lever that operates the suction cup broke on the second use: the pin fell out of the hinge and was lost.

It has been 2 weeks or so since I puchased this knife sharpener. When the sharpener arrived in my house I was actually a bit skeptical becouse it is a bit small. The pakage is not the best but I think more inportant is the product by it self.I find my self positively surprised what this little knife sharpener can do.It indeed gave new life to my knife/knifes.(as the conpany's slogan goes in their websidte)TI IS A POWERFULL TOOL.

Extremely disappointed. Poor quality. Made from cheap plastic. Returned it. Wish it had a better description before I bought it.

I was pleasantly surprised that this little sharpener really did sharpen. I don't expect it to hold up forever, but so far it's done a good job on about 20 knives, including steak knives. Good bargain.

Not worth much in my opinion. I think you need a higher quality knife for a sharpener like this. It sure doesn't do much for a cheap knife.

This knife sharpner is decent, but my main gripes are as following ;The teeth come loose often causing me to open and reseat them..The angle doesnt work with many of my knives.. This works great with my cheap house cutlery, but my Vellenkamp blades, forget it.. It really doesnt do much..If you are looking for a nice kitchen knife sharpener, look no further, but look elsewhere for sharpening high end blades.

This thing lasted 3 minutes. Sharpened a few knives, ( not bad )then took out the big boy knives. It fell apart. Stuck alright, but boy ,whata whimpy thing......

For this little item to be so little it sure does the job .I love the little suction cup on it .When I got it , I thought I had made a mistake ,but this little item sure fooled me !! It is small but it gets the job done!!!
