Little You

I get a little teary reading this to my little one. My toddler also says "Little you!" to her sometimes <3

We chose this book as part of our nightly bedtime routine that we began as soon as our daughter was born. We always read her Little You right before we put her in the crib. She's nearly a year old and I never tire of the lyricism or the sweet illustrations. There are some very nice visual touches, such as the mom's toe peeking out of her sock as she dances the baby across the room. We usually give this book to new parents as a reprieve from cutesy farm animal and other mainstays in the children's library canon.

I love this book it makes me cry very time. It’s heartwarming and just so true. Give it as a gift to friends welcoming a little one.

Honestly my favorite little book to read to our little one. The bold colors and simple text is perfect for babies.

My 15 month-old daughter loves this book. The illustrations are well done and provide a nice variety in her book collection. The story is sweet and the writing is right on target for her age and when she's a little older she will easily be able to learn this book. I also like that it features an Asian family. My daughter is 1/4 Japanese, and she has diverse buddies in school and our neighborhood, so I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for good diverse children's books.

This is a stunning book. The poem is so, so beautiful and the drawings are incredible. I am so grateful that we stumbled upon a reading list that recommended it. My daughter (18 months) and I instantly fell in love with it and it's now our regular bedtime story - repeated 10+ times every night.

I took my one year old Grand daughter to the toddler section of our public library and she grabbed this book and sat down to look at the pictures.The illustrations are charming and eye catching. While simple, I think that a small child can follow the story without being read to. I checked it out for my Grand daughter and realized that my 18 month old Grandson who lives in another state might like it too. So as a special Grandma treat, I ordered this book and sent it to him! Now he can enjoy it too.

I adore this story. I have checked it out from the library many times and would get ready eyed reading it to my baby. I had to purchase it as a gift for a friend of mine. The poetic words are moving and beautiful.

Beautiful written poem story book that is great for infants and toddlers. My toddler absolutely loves this book especially for bedtime. It’s soothing and loving. It has calming images of a family that my toddler loves to look at. Highly recommend this beautiful book

We received this book as gift when we had out child. We ended up buying 2 for other friends. Super cute story, easy to read. And a quick read so you don't feel too annoyed when your child asks to hear it again.
