Great laces! Super straight forward easy to understand instructions. Just remove your old ones, lace in the new ones, cut to length and bam! Solid locking mechanism, easy on the fly adjustments. Great looking replacement!

I had surgery a couple weeks ago. Bending down is not easy for me right now in recovery. I bought these for my work shoes and sneakers. LOVE! Easy to install, stays in place, they work great for boots and sneakers. I'm just sorry I didn't get these before. I don't even have to bend down, sit down, I can just put my foot in my shoes and go! These are very convenient and so thankful. Instructions: You lace them on your shoes just like your other laces. I left one shoe laced as a template and removed the other. After you lace them up, put the shoes on, I had help, so you can get the tightness/looseness right for you. Put the lock lace on the laces to make adjustments. Pull your foot in and out of the shoes standing to set it. Now to the cutting of the laces and putting on the clip. I left them long on my boots and ran the loose lace under the laces to the bottom then clipped it just in case I hurt my ankle/foot and I need a brace. I like to be cautious. They say cut them a couple inches below, but again I went long on my boots and my sneakers. Hope this helps, I will be buying more!

I was very skeptical of this purchase. I have pins in my ankles feet and lower legs which makes swelling common place and laces hard to deal with. Speaking to my Dr, he suggested an elastic style lace. I thought he was crazy. I fight through this and WILL NOT let it stop me from my lifestyle of "outdoorsman" I hike, hunt, fish, camp and work in boots. I went ahead with the purchase and installation of the laces. Now I can put my boots on, work all night hike for hours and NEVER have to stop, loosen my laces and re-tie my boots. You have to understand I was doing this about every hour I had shoes on. I have reccomended these to everyone I know. This is an amazing product! It is well worth the purchase price! I will buy these as long as possible. Or as long as I can wear boots anyway! I know this is a longer review, but if you purchase these laces, you will feel the same way I do! Works very well with the "hook style" top loop of my boots. Shows no wear after a few weeks of well above average adema. Easy to install. Multiple colors available (but honestly doubt I ever get anything but camouflage) perfect product I pray they never change!

I have installed these lock laces on a few different boots and shoes. i will say they are great for 6" boots they fit the middle ground. Shorter and taller shoes tend to have issues with this product. on shorter shoes the extra lace has few places to go and tucking starts to ruin the speed aspect of the product, same for taller 8" boots the amount of adjustment needed ends up putting the time near basic laceup speeds. over time the claps may not retain the tightness, but we will have to see.

These are great quality, I’ve got them on hiking boots and work boots. Once trimmed, I tie a square knot with 2 half hitches (locking knots) then cook the ends with a lighter instead of using the plastic stops Durable, easy to lace, fast cinch up

I have been using these in my wading boots for a few years now. Speeds up getting ready to fly fish.

My boyfriend loves these. He has limited range with his hips and bending to tie his boots is a chore. These have made his morning much easier and they stay put all day.

Pretty good Time savers, but the problem with these laces is that they pop out of the end lock piece on one side. And that's with out yanking on it real hard. I've tried recutting and resecuring. But it keeps happening but just on one boot. Also the spring in the pinch piece could be stronger so that it grips better.

Very good and easy to use

would probably be better for shoes - rather thin for boots

Received today and they are not full black but has whites stripes which is disappointing when description says black.
