The flat cap was traditionally worn through the late 15th through the early 16th Century and was worn by both men and women. Our version is made of strong cotton fabric and is available in a rich Black, Chocolate Brown, Navy Brocade or Red. Two grommets on the side allow for a plume (not included) to be added on either side. Available in S (fits children and adults up to size 7), M (fits size 7-1/4), L (fits size 7-1/2) or XL (fits size 7-3/4). Suitable for men or women.

A good quality hat, but the sizes are all wrong.
Made well and of nice material. I really liked this hat before I put it on. I normally wear an XL and sometimes a Large. So, I ordered the XL to be safe. When I first tried the hat on it fell over my ears and eyes. I was able to make it work by pinching the brim, but it made the hat look lopsided. So, I decided to return the hat. Because of the seller's return policy It was at my expense. But, I was confident that I could get one size smaller to work. I was terribly wrong. The 2nd hat, which was labeled as a Large, couldn't have been more than a Small. I couldn't even wedge it onto the top of my head.

Perfect
Bought for the BF for his Ren Faire outfits. HE LOVES IT, will buy in more in different color for next year. The only issue I found was that this one ran small for a "fits all " size. I ended up making about ten cuts on the inside band (it is not elastic), This gave enough movement for it to fit perfect.

The hat looks amazing. There is also a cool spot to add a feather. The hat fits tight but I doubt if I would have wanted it any bigger.

Bigger than expected
It is an amazing product and is actually larger than i expected it to be, which in my case is a good thing! the material is very nice and it even has side grommets for feathers or other decor!
