DO NOT BUY THESE ENGINES Unless you know 2 stroke machine work by heart
I’ve owned other engines very similar on multiple bikes over the last 10 years. This time I bought 2 of these.. Engine installed easy on 26” mountain bike everything working.. first start runs good. I mixed the gas as recommended and know they have a break in period where you have to be nice for a while. Again not my first 80cc bike engine..After first run wouldn’t run again. Took it apart. Cylinder damage due to paint and poor casting edge removal.. ruined in 3 min run time. So I took the brand new out of box never installed engine apart and well and behold horrible machine work, castings edges, misaligned jug to case contact allowing air and dirt inside rotating assembly, PAINT on cylinder walls and intake/exhaust ports.. just a true mess. I’ll never buy again. It’s disgusting.. thanks for the hundred dollar paper weights.

Red paint on rings
Had to take it apart. Other than that, its a typical stock bike motor. Decked the cylinder, high compression head, a little skirt work because you could see it at tdc through the intake. Changed jet and pow* it's zoomie. Paint in motor not kewl. 🙄Oh, some trimming on clutch pads was necessary.

Good little guy
- Install was pretty intensive only because I didn't bother to check the measurements of the motor lol. - I have no opinions on the grip throttle that came with the kit, I just bought a thumb style one and made it work because that's my preference. - As you can see by the dark spots on the cardboard, black fluid very slowly drips from the exhaust when not in use. Probably a fixable problem, I just couldn't be bothered. - The description TELLS you to use 91 octane gasoline,The manual recommends mixing it with Klots 2 stroke oil,The manual also tells you to grease some components, I used white lithium,With all that I've had no problems so far in 25ish miles - If anyone has any advice on how to bend the exhaust so i can get it out of the pedal's way, that would be nice.I tried clamping the pipe in a vice and wailing on it with a hammer to no avail. - The claims of paint being on the cylinder head are true, I haven't had any problems with it though. - I'm not being nice to it, will check back in if she decides she's had enough!P.S If you are new to small motors and bike maintenance, as I am, I advise you to:- Watch a video on how to adjust the clutch, it will need to be adjusted after you put the engine on the bike.- Purchase a #420 chain punch and watch a vid on how to use it, because you'll likely have to adjust the length of the chain.- Purchase a spoke wrench and watch a vid on how to true a wheel, as the sprocket that clamps to the rear wheel made it a little wobbly. (Last pic)- Watch a video on how to adjust the breaks too, they'll likely need to be adjusted after you true the wheel.
