I am not gay, but I enjoyed the book
I was hesitant about reading the book, but I have read and like mfm books along with the fact, i really like the character Jasper. A lot occurred in this book, plot wise and that is the main reason I wanted to read the book. I did not want to miss anything in regards to the story unfolding in this series. Yes, there are intimate sex scenes in this book. In all honesty, I feel like they (Jasper and Trevor) were like any other couple. When they were together romantically, it was very easy to forget it was a gay couple. They were just like any other couple being intimate. The only time I was like eww, was when the author described rimming. But this occurs with heterosexual couples too, it is just my dislike of that sexual activity. Overall, I felt this book was instrumental to the series because it leads to a major decision by Rafael.************************SPOILER PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE GOING TO READ THE BOOK*****************THIS IS ONLY FOR THE READERS WHO WILL NOT READ THIS BOOK DUE TO IT BEING A BOOK ABOUT A GAY COUPLE *************This is a complete recap about what happened in the book, so that you are prepared for the next book in the series. Before I start, I hope you would read the book and skip over the live scenes, however, if you still do not want to read it, please continue reading. As you know Trevor and Jasper are mates and Trevor is insecure with himself. In the past, Jasper was born and raised in Ireland. His real name is Phelam Odonnel. He was caught as a young lad being lustful toward the son of the king. The king demanded him to be executed. However, the father did not want to lose the labor and loss of income his son would have provided. So he sold him into slavery. Luckily a good clan raised him. The new clan was killed by the English so Jasper became a lonely nomad. While in Greece, while being the apprentice out a fisherman, Theron approached Jasper. He enticed with becoming a clan member which would give him family and then he started a relationship with Jasper. Jasper was a virgin in all ways when it came to relationships. He did not know what to expect nor knew what was normal. Theron started out as just being dominant and aggressive. Jasper did not break up with him, think of a domestic violence situation. Theron got worst and continued with his mental and physical abuse to the point where he tied him up brutally causing severe pain, in which Jasper suffered for days. When he finally escaped from the situation Jasper changed his name from Phelam to Jasper and moved to the states. Of course, Theron missed Jasper because he fought him while tied and being a gargoyle he could tolerate a lot of abuse. He hated and despised the fact that Jasper was having relations with a human. So, he killed several people and targeted Trevor in the hopes of drawing Jasper out. He did trick Jasper and injectex him with a poison and then leaving him tyed up in the pain induced position from the past. The poison paralyzed him and locked his shifter side up. Luckily, Lilly from New Orleans is a witch and was able to heal him. Afterwards, Jasper and Trevor mated and Trevor started to gain self confidence. Theron went back home in the interim and left his sister and Sergi behind to tie up and loose ends. Uri captured both. Isabelle hit Kassirto (I think that is the name and spelling - it is Theron's sister) for the kidnapping and then Dominic Lilly's mate, tied her up like thereon did, but without the pain. Then they sent the pictures to Theron. Theron returned to fight Jasper. Rafael told Jasper it was okay to kill Theron knowing it would officially start a clan war. Jasper did kill Theron. They sent Sergi home with the picture of Kallisto and the dead body of Theron, informing the king that they would return his daughter if he called a truce to the war. Otherwise, his daughter will remain a prisoner. Casper returns to his roots for closure. He found out that his father had past away and he had a 6 month old sister. His mother wanted to die because her mate was dead. She pleaded with Jasper to take her daughter to raise, so that she could pass on. So, Jasper and Trevor took her home to be raised as their daughter. Of course, there was more to the story, but these were the most important parts. Now at least you will be caught up for the next book. However, I really hope you would still read the book. Even though, I provided most of the details, nothing compares to what the author wrote and the feelings she generated while reading.

Jasper rocks!!
I loved this book!! I can honestly say that this is my first m/m book in a series that I actually like and I've already gone back to read this one twice! I highly recommend you read this and not skip over it if m/m is not your forte. The reason? As in the previous books in this series, Jasper and Trevor's story actually starts a couple of books back before they become the main characters in their own book. If you have purchased the previous novels in this series, I suggest you go back and read the parts that involve these two so you'll get an understanding of where this book picks up. There is an underlying story that has run throughout this series and this further adds to the plot as well previous characters making appearances, so don't skip. I loved Jasper and how much he was stubbornly persistent and protected Trevor even when Trevor didn't want him around. I think my only complaint is that their story was so spread out in the last 2 books that had me going back to re-read their story so I could get the circumstances correct by the time I stared Jasper. Either way, if you've read this far into the series, you'll finally get to see these two come together

1 Bad Guy Down!
As I don't read a lot of m/m books this was done very well.Jasper is a detective for New Atlanta & has met his mate in Trevor who is the assistant to Dante, the M.E. but, his courtship of Trevor has been messed up with people from his past.Trevor is like a very shy geek with low self-esteem & doesn't believe at 1st that Jasper really likes him & doesn't really find out about the gargoyles until the end of the last book (book 5). Trevor's also unsure if he even wants to mate with Jasper once he does find out about the Clan. This book gives the reader a lot of background information on what Jasper's life has been like & how he came to know Theron, Alistair's son (Alistair is the relative that's been causing all the mate trouble & he was in Dante's book). Eventually, both Jasper & Trevor become close but then Theron get between them again by not only hurting Trevor's brother Travis but poisoning Jasper as well. This was a very good book & an HEA story that you will have to read in order to find out what happens in this book because I'm not going to tell you what happens next. Now, onto the next book in this series.

Intense
As with all the Stone Society books, “Jasper” delves into the complex world of the Stone gargoyle clan. Jasper is a gay gargoyle and has fallen head over heals in love with the assistant medical examiner, a human named Trevor. The build-up to their love affair starts a few books back, but their story beautifully unfolds in this book. The plot twists and turns and the complexities in not only Jasper & Trevor’s relationship but in several other gargoyle couples makes this book a total winner. Because of the M/M detailed erotic content, this book is definitely for the 18+ crowd.

The best, sweetest one yet.
I understand some would not appreciate man love but really this is one of the sweetest stories. It takes a bit to get Trevor to finally hear Jasper's side of the story but once he did, Trevor began to come around. Theron turns out to be more evil than we thought. Travis hits a very bad time and with the help of the clan will eventually be okay. Jasper was so patient with his mate. He was willing to just be in Trevor's life as a friend. I really like Lorenzo and Urijah. Sixx has a rough time ahead of him. Loved seeing Com and Lilly. This is a must read. Absolutely loved it!!!!

The one I Have been Waiting For!
Jasper has met his mate, and it is no surprise that Trevor is the next one to have to survive the call of his feelings. Each book in Faith's Stone Society series has provided entertainment, but Jasper's heartache and emotional torment, as a gargoyle, and as he goes through the trial of finally finding, then trying to keep his mate safe, plus bringing him into the clan, is the thread of the first five books that has had me anxiously awaiting their story.I love a HEA but Jasper has had to endure so much to get to it. Well worth the wait for Jasper's story!

Fantastic Read!
*I received this ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review*JASPER(The Stone Society #6) by Faith GibsonJasper Jenkins never really felt like he belonged, he was a loner. Until he moved to New Atlanta and joined the Stone Society, giving him a clan, a family of his own. But when his past rears its ugly head, in the form of an evil gargoyle, comes back to terrorize and torment him and those around him. And on top of everything going on in his life at the moment, the quirky medical examiner's assistant turns out to be his mate. Jasper's life just got hundred percent better but also hundred percent more complicated.Trevor McKenzie knows all about heartache and loneliness. When he found out he was cloned, it destroyed his confidence making him feel less of a person. He has no life, he spends his time between work and visiting his brother. But that soon changes when he finds out about gargoyles, mates and the crazy psycho that's after him. When he finds out that he is mate to the most attractive gargoyle who also happens to be his best friend, his shocked and his insecurities grow because of who he is and the way he looks. Will Trevor trust and believe in the love been offered to him, or will he think it's just not worth it because of the danger and sorrow it's brought to him already.Jasper will stop at nothing to keep his mate safe. So he enlists the help of his clan to stop the maniac from trying to completely destroy their lives. Will he be able to convince his mate that love is worth taking a chance for. This is Jasper and Trevor's story and I was really looking forward to reading their book. I had high hopes and I can say without a doubt that it was everything I expected and so much more. This author has a way with words that are quiet captivating. I love the whole family dynamics between the clan members, their mates and their friends. Making you wish you were included in their family. The storyline was entertaining and kept my interest throughout the pages, and the characters were amazing. Poor Jasper and Trevor, your heart just went out to them on numerous occasions, they just had such difficult times. I loved catching up with the rest of the guys from previous books and the few new ones we met in this story. This was such an enjoyable read. I highly recommend it!

My favourite mates so far.
The relationship between Jasper and Trevor had me wanting more since they were first introduced several books back, when Jasper asked Trevor over to play games.I am so glad to say this book did NOT disappoint in any way shape or form. There were twists and turns and I even gasped out loud a few times because of all of the hurt and evil.Even though the book is just as long as the others, I wished this had kept on going for twice as long. That's how much I love J & T.Please keep the books coming, I want to know about Malakai and Urijah next :-D

Fantastic
In Trevor's eyes Jasper is a very attractive badass and why Jasper would want to be with him, Trevor doesn't understand. He see's himself as plain, geeky and a bit weird. In Jasper's eyes Trevor is everything he could want in a mate, handsome, funny and intelligent but convincing Trevor to become his, is going to be one of the greatest challenges of his long life.Throw into the mix Jasper's past, which comes back to haunt him in the worse way possible and the Gargoyle fears he will never get his man.I loved this book and thoroughly recommend it. In my opinion to get the best out of the story you need to read the first five wonderful books in this series first but it is well worth it. This is one of my favourite series of books.
