"Baila Que Baila" is the follow-up to the Grammy nominated and self-titled debut, "Mongorama" CD. Mongorama continues to explore and integrate Jazz with Cuban charanga rhythms, inspired by the early 1960's music of Mongo Santamaria. The CD features great tenor saxophonist Justo Almario, pianist Oscar Hernandez, flautist Danilo Lozano, timbalero Ramon Banda, and rising star, violinist Dayren Santamaria. Special guests are jazz guitar legend, Kenny Burrell, and conguero Poncho Sanchez. This is music that will satisfy the great dancers and the serious jazz fans. This is Latin and jazz at it's highest level.

The rich percussion sounds
I use this product for personal listening. It is the best of the best Latin jazz I have ever heard in my life. They have followed after the tradition that was before and has taken it beyond. This is the masterpiece of all the Latin music I’ve ever heard..... other than Mongo, THE KING!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Classic Latin Jazz at its best great CD to have in your collection.

Great follow up CD
Top notch musicians, outstanding recording and mixing. Very well done, Mongorama shows many different sides. I think Charanga lovers, Jazz lovers, Salsa lovers and just plain Music lovers will enjoy this CD. I think it's worthy of another Grammy nomination (and a win).
