Hawaii Coconut Syrup - 10 oz.

This syrup is divine. There just aren't words enough for me to describe the taste. Takes me to island in an instant. I made pancakes and topped them with some cut up bananas and this syrup and went back for seconds, and considered thirds. All that said, it is a very small bottle for the price, which I think is quite steep. I was able to make homemade that tasted exactly like this, for a third of the cost and the recipe made just as much, probably more. I am not saying this to discourage anyone from buying this, because it is an excellent product. If you are the least bit savvy in the kitchen you can make your own in a jiffy and save yourself the green. BUT, if you are not, then I would whole-heartedly say buy this syrup and make a double batch of pancakes because you are going to want to go back again and again. (You also might consider buying two bottles since you will empty this one right away!)

Sweet but definitely getting closer to the taste of the authentic coconut syrup I had in Hawaii. This will start as an excellent base - I'm going to try to add some additional coconut milk and toasted coconut to the dishes...LOVE coconut!

I love the fact I could just tap a few keys and have coconut syrup delivered to my door. My grandson discovered coconut syrup one morning in Hilo and was impressed. His mother (my daughter) called and told me while camping she made pancakes and Evan asked for coconut syrup and when he discovered they didn't have any he said he would never eat pancakes again. And informed me since I was the one that took him there i needed to fix it. Thank you!

We picked up some macadamia nut pancakes while we were in Hawaii but didn't think to get syrup too. Once we got home we realized our mistake and lucked out when we found this syrup online. It has a great taste to it and it is the perfect compliment to the pancakes. If you are looking for a touch of Hawaii for breakfast then you should give these a try. Wish it wasn't quite so expensive... but still worth it for a nice treat every now and then.

I had purchased this on a trip to Maui and loved the taste but was sad to use up what I had purchased. I was so happy to find this on Amazon and that they shipped this product to MD. I love the taste, the only thing reason I gave it a 4-star was because when I received my last purchase, the syrup looked old; there were large solid chunks when I opened the bottle...this wouldn't happen if the syrup were produced fairly recently.

Hubs and I went to Hawaii for our fifth wedding anniversary, and I think we must have polished off a gallon of coconut syrup the week we were there. I have ordered several brands online since our return, but this is my favorite. In general, coconut syrup must be refrigerated after opening, and you have to take it out of the refrigerator twenty or thirty minutes ahead of time to allow the syrup to soften. Of course, more often than not, I would forget to take it out of the refrigerator, and the syrups just would not pour. This syrup maintains the perfect viscosity even when chilled. Also, it is delicious on our weekly Sunday morning pancakes.

Went to Hawaii and ate at a small local cafe in Kauai every morning that had some amazing coconut syrup. Later found it at the ABC Store in Honolulu. However, once back at home couldn't find this stuff anywhere...Amazon to the rescue! It's soooo good, I've tried a number of other brands in my quest for the perfect syrup reminiscent of my vacation and none of them held a candle to this stuff. It's a little pricey but so worth it!

I knew that coconut syrup was expensive but at least figured it would be a little bigger. I happened to overlook the actual 10oz listed in the description. There is another bottle for the same price on Amazon that is 15oz so I may try this next time.Regardless of the size and price, great syrup. Have been wanting this ever since I got back from the islands.
