Not really sure what all the negative reviews were about. Wanted a cheap beach/pool proof case just for vacation, planned on changing back to my more fashionable case when I got home. This was low cost, perfect. Easy on, protected my phone, completely functional, could hear everything. Texting and online out to edges of screen. Can't do that with my husband's otter box! protector of the home button looked kind of odd and bubbly, but the fingerprint reader worked great without any problems like I didn't have a case on at all. Waited almost a month before taking it off when I got home, and only reason I did is because it would not fit in the stand in my car. Even was able to wirelessly charge it on my stand at home; it wasn't too thick. My daughter had a lifeproof and she can't do that. Very happy with this product. Just wish it was a different color or more fashionable than boring black.

I got this case because I frequent a great lake often and it’s always been a concern that my phone would get wet or fall in. I researched a bit before deciding on this case. This case has a spot for you to attach a lanyard or camera strap to, so I attached a floating camera strap that supports the weight of my phone. This might be the best purchase I’ve ever made - this case is awesome!To test it initially, I dunked it into six gallons of water. I then played with it in a pool and discovered 2 things: the first being that this case kept my phone dry the entire time, and the second being that Snapchat filters work underwater. Life changed forever.I do not understand how this case works, because it plays sound underwater and records in a way that you can still understand the audio. But I won’t question it. It is a fantastic creation.My phone can officially fall in water while still staying dry. I’ve never been more thrilled with a purchase.I would highly recommend this case, along with a separate purchase of a supported floating device of your choosing. It’s a dream team for any water activity. My phone is unsinkable. It’s been oodles of fun!

The case protects my phone from impacts very well, however the day to day wear eventually resulted in the corner of the plastic lip connecting the two halves cracking. Additionally, the film that covers the home button wasn’t properly attached to the screen protector; a small part of the film remained unbonded. This and the crack results in water being able to deep into the case and compromise the functionality of the touchscreen. Taking the phone out of the case and wiping away the water resolves issue, and given that the iPhone 7/8 Plus is rated as IP67 water resistant, the small amount of water that does seep in is an inconvenience at best.

Just buy it!!!After being exposed to diesel, welding sparks, boating (kid dropping it into water at sand bar and found it) falling out of my semi, yard work, and just all around abusing the phone and case for six months it has held up amazing in my opinion. I just purchased a new one due to scratches on camera lens effecting me taking pictures and the home button thing coming off. I didn’t even second guess to order a new one. I am extremely hard on my phones cases and expected a lot from the high dollar ones just to be let down. This one beat them hands down for a fraction of the price.I am a do it all guy. Welding. Fishing. Farming. Mechanic. This case has held up great. If dropped my phone from some heights and was impressed there was no damage to the phone. And it’s comforting to know it’s safe from the water

I bought this to use on my recent trip to US Virgin Islands / BVI. Product was completely waterproof as advertised, and I used it throughout the trip for underwater pictures as you see here. I had no signs of moisture inside the case. The pictures on land were also clear even with the additional case lens that the phone lens has to work through. I was using an iPhone 7s.Only slight issue was that the microphone made it difficult to hear me in some conversations. I would not recommend as an everyday case for that reason. Touch screen worked fine on land, but underwater you will lose functionality. I just set the phone to photo or video and then used the volume down button to start video or take the pic.Perfect for what I needed. Completely waterproof, dustproof, etc. Easy to install, and I flipped back to my normal case very simply as the ORDTBY clamshell design made removal easy. For taking pics or video while snorkeling, this is the way to go! Won't be my main case, but I would highly recommend this for underwater photos.

The case looks good, and it keeps water out while it's on a shelf in my shower. The reason it gets one star is because: 1. it muffles the sound almost totally which makes it hard to listen to music or podcasts out loud when I don't need to use headphones. And 2. It is impossible to make phone calls without a Bluetooth of some sort because there isn't even a hole for the phones speaker. It's just closed up in there which works about as well as it sounds. I have frantically taken this case off about a dozen times now, just so the person calling will be able to hear and understand when I say "hello". I'm ordering a different one because I look insane when this happens in public, and I have butter fingers so it's only a matter of time until that phone call ritual of ripping my case off is tragic for my phone. Anyway, if you never have important calls nor use your phone without headphones this is the right case for you.

For the price it’s a great buying decision!

I don’t like the fact that if I want to use this product I have to take the screen protector off. If I’m done using this case for my water activities and want to put it back in another case then I would have to get another screen protector. Sound quality through this case is also bad. Not very good.
