I was looking for a gift for my father-in-law who has lived in Wisconsin all his life. He is a big Wisconsin Badgers fan and I wanted to find something that he most likely didn't have. He also likes to cook and entertain and I found this cutting board during my searches. I actually already have the New Jersey board since that's where I was born so I knew what kind of board I was ordering. In this review, I will reference both the Wisconsin and New Jersey cutting boards. These cutting boards are made of bamboo and are cut in the shapes of the states of the United States. They are made in China. The Wisconsin board measures (at the biggest dimensions considering the shape of the state) about 13 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 5/8 inches thick. The dimensions on the tag included match what I measured. The New Jersey board (also the biggest dimension considering the state's shape) measures 15 1/4 inches tall by 10 inches wide by 5/8 inches thick. Washing instructions are fairly simple. You can wash with warm water and a mild detergent. With a lot of my bamboo kitchen accessories, I wipe some mineral oil on them when the bamboo starts to look a little dry. This helps to give it a refreshed look. Do not place these boards in the dishwasher. I love these cutting boards and my father-in-law loved his when we gave it to him! He cuts up a lot of meat and cheese for snacks so he used it a lot right away. I use my New Jersey board too and these are well-made and easy to clean. They even come with a suede loop at the top so you can hang it up and use it as decor if you want. I'm considering getting the Wisconsin one for our family too and it's plenty big enough for cutting up a lot of food. It also makes a great conversation piece! We love these boards and I'm considering giving more of these as gifts to family and friends as needed! They are well-made, look like a great quality piece and are nicely-priced. If you need a gift for a friend or family member, these are perfect and I highly recommend them!

This is a great bamboo cutting board. Well made and durable not to mention the home state shape of Louisiana and being from the boot makes for cutting fun in the kitchen

Beautiful cutting board!

I’m redoing a guest room and the mud room/freezer room that is just outside of it. I originally bought this to paint black and hang on the wall in the guest bedroom since we are in Atlanta. I decided that it was too cute to destroy with a layer of paint, but the color didn’t match other wood element’s in the room. I ended up hanging it as is on the wall in the freezer/mud room and it matched perfectly with the decor in there. It is a bit smaller than I would like, but still very nice.

Well made, this was purchased as a gift. I wished it was mailed in more protective packaging since Oklahoma has a panhandle and could easily break or chip. But it came with no issues. Great product and great idea for a gift!

I got this as a gift for a Florida lover. I gave it to the recipient along with some Jimmy Buffett themed kitchen items. She was thrilled. I like the fact that this board can be used as a cutting board, or a charcuterie board, or simply as a decorative item. I didn’t notice any odor to the board whatsoever.

Bought as part of our camping gear. Nice board, and this shape lends itself to being held by the north end of the state. Quality wood, not too thick, but not too heavy to handle, either
