The best especially when I'm taking timelapse

I'll admit I was ready to send this back when I first opened it. I tried to attach the back to several of my cases and it was to small to attach. I kept digging and found a case that it would work on, as best as I can tell the case it wouldn't work on are the ones that come with external batteries. So if you have your original case you should be good to go. It's a very tight squeeze fitting everything in, but it does fit.

The back door fits perfectly.The adapter powers the camera properly both at home and in the car.This really solves the common GoPro issues of short battery life and overheating.I would recommend buying this product !

I purchased this used it a couple of times, I am not sure it ever worked, I thought I was doing something wrong. after checking this out I found that it loses power after it enters the box. asked seller if I could get a replacement for that part of the cable, there replay was to check it with all the charges to see if it was the cable for sure, I responded it was the cable and that was the last I have heard.the problem is that there is not enough room in side the box for all they have to cram inside so the wires break after you open and close it a few times

The product works as described. My only issue is that the power converter that goes inside the case. It is too big and should be moved towards the USB plug then the plastic case could actually be made much smaller. I ended up using a 3M command strip to stick the power converter to the back of the case. It now closes and much easier, but it's still hard to see the screen on my GoPro.

I like the idea, but I never got mine to work correctly, the parts inside the case are not secure and vibrate during recording, thus trashing the audio when doing driving video; the connection was spotty requiring you to have a battery, but the cable did nothing to maintain the battery while connected to a power source, and if you take the battery out and have a temporary loss of power, there goes your recording. I threw mine away and am searching for something better that works and is not overpriced.

I wanted a way to power my GoPro 3+ while it was mounted on my motorcycle for capturing long distance rides. A 64G card will cover 8 hours, but no battery or waterproof external power seemed to be available until I saw this. Once I managed to properly position the plug and squeeze everything together, it worked great. Now I just need to edit down 70 hrs of video!

Love the fact that I don't have to change batteries all the time when shooting a time lapse or long video especially when the gopro is connected wirelessly to my phone which is really power hungry (the camera not my phone). My only worry so far is how tight the little black box thing is inside the case when you go to close he cover. It pushes on the plug and you really have to bend the small cable to get it to fit.
